Site Description: The Zhejiang Provincial High People's Court is located in Hangzhou City and was established in 1950. It originally worked on Minsheng Road and later moved to Shengtang Road. In 1991, it moved to No. 1 Provincial Government Road and in 2001, it moved to No. 5 Macheng Road. The current office and trial building covers an area of approximately 24 acres, consisting of three parts: the main building, the south building, and the judge training center. There are 19 large, medium, and small trial courts. There are internal offices, supervision rooms, organization and personnel departments, judge management departments, education and training departments, veteran cadres departments, Criminal First Division, Criminal Second Division, Criminal Third Division, Civil First Division, Civil Second Division, Civil Third Division, Civil Fourth Division, Filing First Division, Filing Second Division, Trial Supervision Division, Administrative Division, Execution Division, Execution Comprehensive Division, Execution Implementation Division, Execution Supervision Division, Research Division, Judicial Police Corps, Judicial Technical Appraisal Division, Judicial Administrative Equipment Management Division Organ Party Committee, Zhejiang Judges Training College, Discipline Inspection Team, Political Department, Executive Bureau, and other institutions. As of October 2008, the total number of staff in the hospital was 359 (excluding career establishment), with a bachelor's degree or above accounting for 93.03% and a master's degree or above accounting for 32.03%. It has jurisdiction over 11 intermediate people's courts, Ningbo Maritime Court and 90 basic people's courts in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Quzhou, Lishui, Taizhou, Zhoushan, etc. The basic courts now send 212 people's courts. There are 10082 court staff in the province (excluding the establishment of public institutions), with 7.86% holding a master's degree or above and 83.78% holding a bachelor's degree or above.
