Recently, during the unpacking inspection of an incoming mail item, Jinan Post Office Customs seized two plastic cans containing a large number of beetles, totaling 1000 beetles weighing 2 kilograms, and the cans also had a pungent odor. After identification, the beetles inside the jar are the Ya's double concave dung beetle, the beetle of the genus Dung beetle, the giant dung beetle, the Shen Nong Jie dung beetle, and the bull headed dung beetle, all of which have died.

According to the Catalogue of Animals and Plants, Their Products and Other Quarantine Objects Prohibited to Be Carried or Posted into China by the China, it is prohibited to carry or post animal carcasses, animal specimens, and waste of animal origin into China without the approval of the competent administrative department.
