Under the guidance of the People's Bank of China and with the support of the Internet Clearing Company, Ant Group's "Service Asian Games Plan" has been further upgraded, and Alipay+has added support for payment and consumption of 7 overseas wallets in Asia in China. Up to now, global tourists can use Alipay or any of the 10 overseas wallets to scan codes and consume like locals when entering China, which will further improve the shopping and travel experience of global tourists in China.

This means that the Hangzhou Asian Games will become the first mobile payment connected Asian Games in history, pioneering the first large-scale support for overseas wallets in the history of international large-scale sports events. At the same time, this is also a milestone in the digitization and internationalization of China's payment industry. China's mobile payment solution is expanding its industrial influence and further promoting the interconnection of mobile payments in Asia.

It is understood that under the guidance of the People's Bank of China, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange and other departments, Ant Group has cooperated with multiple partners to promote the financial service guarantee work for the Asian Games, and launched two mobile payment schemes, namely, "binding overseas bank cards after downloading Alipay App" and "directly using overseas electronic wallets".

At present, immigrants can use the international bank cards of Visa, Mastercard, JCB, DinersClub, Discover and other card organizations to bind Alipay to pay by scanning code. At the same time, it also supports 10 overseas wallets connected through Alipay+, including AlipayHK (Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China), Touch'nGoeWallet (Malaysia), KakaoPay (South Korea), mPay (Macau Special Administrative Region of China), HiPay (Mongolia), ChangiPay (Singapore), Overseas Chinese Bank (Singapore), NaverPay (South Korea), TossPay (South Korea), TrueMoney (Thailand), to be scanned and paid domestically, The above 10 overseas wallets cover over 175 million consumers in Southeast Asia and East Asia.
