It is reported that the first batch of Cainiao Intelligent Warehouse Selection and Next Day Delivery will be launched, relying on 15 Cainiao warehouses from four major warehouse groups in Wuhu, Anhui, Jiaxing, Zhejiang, Guangzhou, Guangdong, and Foshan, covering consumer electronics, beauty care, and other categories. Shentong Express will be responsible for collection and delivery, providing committed next day delivery services to major cities in the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta economic circle. When consumers place an order on Taobao Tmall, they can see a prominent "next day delivery" logo on the product details page, as well as a promise to compensate for late arrivals.

Cainiao Intelligent Warehouse and Next Day Delivery achieved two breakthroughs in the industry: the deadline for orders was delayed to 10pm at night, and compared to the industry's usual stop of collection from 4pm to 6pm, Cainiao collected 6 more hours. 90% of orders were delivered on the next day, with an average speed increase of 8 hours per package. At the same time, redefining next-day delivery is no longer based on the calculation of delivery time from receiving to signing for general express delivery, but instead achieves a full chain performance of about 30 hours from payment to signing for, making it a true next-day delivery.

This is another brand new warehouse configuration product launched by Cainiao Supply Chain in March this year, following the launch of the Preferred Warehouse Configuration Half Day Delivery. The former focuses on the ultimate experience, while the latter focuses on the ultimate cost-effectiveness. This is also considered by the industry as a rookie to further develop "roll up" services, providing layered services for merchants to meet their diverse needs.

The collaboration between Cainiao and Shentong has attracted much attention from the outside world. Shentong also specifically uses the green channel for the next day's arrival at the distribution center, which is instant distribution upon arrival; Building specialized trunk channels, scheduled departures, and utilizing single volume scale cost sharing not only improves service quality but also does not cause significant cost increases.

It is reported that Cainiao's supply chain has formed eight professional networks, including light and small items, large items, and cold chain, covering more than 2800 districts and counties across the country. The preferred warehouse under Cainiao Supply Chain, through its own warehouse and self distribution capabilities, provides half day delivery services, covering multiple cities such as Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Within this year, it will achieve full coverage of cities with a population of tens of millions.
