It is reported that with the previous angel round's $50 million, Baichuan Intelligent's financing amount has reached $350 million.

According to data, Baichuan Intelligent was established on April 10, 2023, by former Sogou CEO Wang Xiaochuan. Its core team comes from technology companies such as Sogou, Google, Tencent, Baidu, Huawei, Microsoft, and Byte. Half a year after its establishment, Baichuan Intelligent successively released four open source and free commercial models, Baihuan-7B/13B, Baihuan2-7B/13B, and two closed source models, Baihuan-53B and Baihuan2-53B.
