It is reported that the "Global Top 2% Scientists List" is based on Scopus, the world's largest abstract and citation database, covering 22 fields and 176 sub fields in the global scientific community. It uses citation frequency, H-index, HM index, etc. for comprehensive evaluation. Select the top 2% of scientists in the world based on their "career influence" and "annual influence" from nearly 7 million scientists. As one of the authoritative academic evaluation systems in the international community, this list provides a measure of scientists' long-term research performance and influence, which can objectively and truly reflect their academic influence.
