Currently, Unisoft has launched research and development in technical areas such as function calling, vector search, multi-modal models, and unified interfaces, and has made significant progress. UOS AI, an operating system independently developed by Unisoft, has been adapted to 61 applications, including 51 self-developed applications and third-party applications such as Reminna, DingTalk, QQ, WeChat, Enterprise WeChat, and WPS. At the same time, UOS AI covers 90% of mainstream open-source large models and AI frameworks, deeply empowering the deepin open-source operating system and the Unisoft UOS desktop operating system.

UOS AI Empowers Applications, Enhances User Experience and Work Efficiency

UOS AI has made significant progress in the past year. From the initial V1.0 version focusing on empowering smart global search, email, and browser applications, to now covering more application scenarios, UOS AI is continuously improving user experience and work efficiency.

In browser applications, users can use UOS AI for chat Q&A, translation, summarization, rewriting, and other content processing, and support custom prompts to achieve personalized functions. In email applications, users can quickly complete writing standards and layout ideas through UOS AI, greatly improving work efficiency.

In addition, UOS AI provides 23 system settings capabilities and deeply customizes 5 self-developed applications, including email, calendar, cinema, music, and browser, all of which are linked with UOS AI to achieve some special functions. It is expected that by the end of the year, UOS AI will cover more than 30 self-developed applications with deep calling capabilities.

In addition to the UOS AI operating system, Unisoft is also exploring the application of AI technology in other application scenarios. In the company's internal design department, Unisoft uses AI technology to shorten poster production time to a few minutes. Designers only need to use natural language to describe their design concepts and preferences, and AI can generate posters that meet their needs by combining existing materials.

Moreover, Unisoft has partnered with companies such as Baidu and Zhipu to accelerate the code development process using AI code generation models. At the same time, to improve customer service quality and efficiency, Unisoft has built an internal knowledge base to organize common customer questions and answers into an automatic response mechanism, reducing the burden on human customer service staff.

In recent years, seven ministries and commissions, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Science and Technology, jointly issued the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Innovative Development of Future Industries," emphasizing the development of next-generation operating systems to build a secure and reliable digital foundation.

Zhang Lei believes that the main direction of improvement of AI technology at the operating system level is reflected in the change of interaction methods. With the popularity of smartphones and technological advancements, people can directly control devices through natural language or images, which is more convenient and flexible than traditional keyboard and mouse operations.
