Through implementing a series of ecological governance projects, such as establishing windbreak forests and returning grazing land to grassland, Gonghe County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, has significantly reduced the proportion of desertified land, achieving a fundamental shift from "sand driving people back" to "green advances, sand retreats." The photo shows the Tara Beach photovoltaic base in Gonghe County, where a 50-megawatt molten salt tower solar thermal power station is already in operation. The "grazing-solar complementarity" model, which generates electricity from photovoltaic panels and allows grazing underneath them, has created a virtuous cycle between industry and ecology, achieving green development.
