Science and Technology Daily News (Reporter Li Liyun): According to Mingyang Group, the MySE10.X-23X onshore wind turbine independently developed by Mingyang Intelligent officially went offline on May 26th. This is the first wind turbine unit in the Mingyang Daqing Base to achieve "dual production" of the entire machine and blades. This unit, with a super large impeller diameter of over 230 meters, has set a new record for the world's largest offline onshore wind turbine, marking that China's research and manufacturing capabilities for ultra large onshore wind turbines have reached a world leading level, as well as the official production of the Daqing Base of Mingyang Wind Power High end Equipment Manufacturing Industry Cluster.
It is reported that the impeller diameter of the MySE10.X-23X onshore unit exceeds 230 meters, which is equivalent to the span length of 3.6 Boeing 747s in parallel. The maximum swept area exceeds 42000 square meters. At full wind speed, a single unit can generate 21 kilowatt hours of electricity per revolution, generating over 35 million kilowatt hours of clean electricity per year. This can meet the annual electricity needs of approximately 12500 families of three, equivalent to saving 11000 tons of standard coal per year and reducing 32000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
With an ultra long impeller diameter and a 10. X megawatt ultra large single unit capacity, the MySE10.X-23X wind turbine can be widely used in onshore areas with medium to high wind speeds. In response to the characteristics of the ultra-low temperature environment in the "Three North" region and the extreme environmental conditions of the "Sha Ge Huang" wind power base, the unit adopts a series of innovative designs such as low temperature resistance and wind sand prevention, which can effectively cope with extreme environmental conditions such as cold, high temperature, and wind sand. The ultra long blades carried by the unit are innovated through a five in one matrix of materials, technology, structure, lean manufacturing, and intelligent digital technology, combined with multi-objective optimization methods to improve production reliability and structural safety, reduce blade weight, and ensure excellent aerodynamic efficiency and power generation capacity.
The Mingyang Daqing Wind Power High end Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Base, where the wind turbine is offline, is a key project of Mingyang Intelligent in assisting the green and low-carbon transformation of the energy system in Heilongjiang Province. It is also the largest wind power equipment manufacturing base of Mingyang Intelligent in Northeast China.
