On February 17th, the first day of the spring semester for Beijing's primary and secondary schools, the "One Hundred Aerospace Scientists into One Hundred Schools" program (the "Double Hundred Plan"), jointly initiated by the China Association for Science and Technology Education of Youth and Beihang University (BUAA), was officially launched in Beijing. This program is a significant implementation of the newly revised Science and Technology Popularization Law. Its core aim is to facilitate face-to-face interactions between aerospace experts and scholars and primary and secondary school students. Through various forms, including popular science lectures and interactive activities, the program aims to ignite young people's passion for aerospace exploration and cultivate a reserve force for national scientific and technological development.

On the launch day, 11 experts and scholars from the aerospace field visited 11 primary and secondary schools in Fengtai District, presenting students with a spectacular science popularization feast. This impressive lineup of experts covered various crucial aspects of the field, including Professor Pan Chong, Director of the Aerospace Science and Technology Education Committee of the China Association for Science and Technology Education of Youth and Dean of the School of Aerospace Science and Engineering at BUAA; Academician Deng Yulin of the International Academy of Astronautics from Beijing Institute of Technology; and Professor Chen Zhiying from BUAA's Institute of Aero-Engine, among other renowned experts. They are not only authoritative scholars in their respective fields but also shared their rich research experiences and valuable life insights with the students, setting positive examples.

At Beijing Education Science Research Institute Fengtai Experimental Primary School, Academician Deng Yulin led students on an exploration of the mysteries of space and life in his lecture titled "To the Vast Cosmos, to Unravel the Mysteries of Life." Using easy-to-understand language, he transformed complex scientific knowledge into content accessible to children, sparking their keen interest in space exploration. At Beijing No. 5 Experimental School, Professor Pan Chong's lecture, themed "Learning from Nature" to "Surpassing Nature," elucidated how technology has driven the development of flight technology, showcasing the charm of scientific and technological progress and providing students with a deeper understanding of technological advancements.

Other experts meticulously prepared rich and diverse popular science lectures centered on different aerospace themes. The design concept of the "Starry Voyage" course resource package emphasizes both the inheritance of the spirit of Chinese scientists, promoting patriotism, and cultivating young people's ability to think about global science and technology issues. It broadly incorporates new knowledge and achievements in the aerospace field worldwide and highlights the great achievements of China's aerospace industry.
