One year ago, the three post-75 astronauts on Shenzhou XIV were called "the youngest crew in history", and all three were the second batch of Chinese astronauts. One year later, young Zhu Yangzhu, as one of China's third batch of reserve astronauts, will become a new member of China's astronaut team, embarking on a new journey of building a strong aerospace country and continuing his dream of flying.

Before his doctoral graduation in September 2015, Zhu Yangzhu spent ten years in the National University of Defense Technology as an undergraduate, master, and doctor. Later, he studied as a postdoctoral student in the State Key Laboratory of Explosion Shock Disaster Prevention and Mitigation in the former PLA University of Science and Technology. He was also an engineer of PLA 63926, and his research direction was experimental aerodynamics, aviation, weather, and dynamic optics.

Professor Yi Shihe from the School of Aerospace Science at the University of National Defense Technology was Zhu Yangzhu's supervisor during his master's and doctoral studies. Many years ago, Yi Shihe focused his research direction on the field of basic innovation research for high-speed aircraft. In order to obtain experimental data for high-speed aircraft as soon as possible, Yi Shihe led the team leader to spend time in the laboratory. In order to further support his research work, the college has established a specialized aerospace aerodynamics laboratory. At the University of National Defense Technology, the research work of Yi Shihe's team was described as a "pioneering journey for a group of 'trendsetters'. Now, as his student, Zhu Yangzhu is constantly pursuing the wind and heading into space.
