Prior to being awarded the full range road running license, the Wenyuan Zhixing autonomous taxi Robotaxi had completed over a year of public testing and operation on some sections of the United Arab Emirates. On June 29, the Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Center (ITC) announced that as one of the services for the Eid al Adha holiday, visitors to Saadiyat Island and Yas Island in Abu Dhabi can experience autonomous vehicle services for free.

Wenyuan Zhixing stated that "it has been actively promoting the overseas layout of its autonomous driving products and services, with the Middle East region being one of its main driving points. In March of this year, Wenyuan Zhixing officially settled in the China Arab Emirates (UAE) Production Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Park, formed a local team, and further accelerated the commercialization of autonomous driving in the UAE region

Han Xu, the founder and CEO of Wenyuan Zhixing, stated that the awarding of the world's first national level autonomous driving license plate is an important milestone for Wenyuan Zhixing's overseas layout.
