The completion of concrete pouring for the first section of the tower column of the 5th main tower of the bridge marks the full transition of the main bridge of the Shituo Yangtze River Bridge to tower column construction.

It was July, and the construction process was subjected to continuous high-temperature weather, with the highest temperature on site reaching nearly 40 degrees Celsius. On the basis of doing a good job in heatstroke prevention, all builders will fight against high temperatures, scorching heat, and sweat to ensure quality, safety, and progress, and efficiently complete construction tasks.

It is reported that the Shituo Yangtze River Bridge is a key node and control project in the construction of the Chongqing Wanzhou high-speed railway project. The bridge is constructed by Chongqing Wanzhou Railway Co., Ltd., jointly designed by China Railway Bridge Design Institute and China Railway Eryuan, and constructed by China Railway Bridge Bureau.
