[Global Network Technology Comprehensive Report] On June 29, it was predicted by TrendForce, a market analyst, that the global TV shipments in the second quarter of this year would reach 46.63 million units, with a quarterly increase of 7.5% and an annual increase of 2%.

TrendForce analysis shows that the main benefit is the strong momentum of Chinese brands in stocking up during the 618 e-commerce festival, as well as some Chinese brands' overseas market sales exceeding expectations. It is also the first time in seven consecutive quarters that they have seen an annual growth rate of 2%, indicating that terminal inventory has returned to a healthy level after a long period of depletion, and brands will stock up based on actual demand changes in the future.

The TrendForce report shows that looking forward to the third quarter, due to the upcoming peak stocking season in the third quarter, it is estimated that TV shipments will increase by 13.5%, to approximately 52.92 million units.

TrendForce stated that due to the divergence between panel prices and terminal selling prices, brands can only reduce overall production costs by early stocking in order to maximize profits. Therefore, it is estimated that global TV shipments may slow down in the fourth quarter, with the quarterly increase rate converging to 4.5%, about 55.13 million units.
