Site Description: Beijing Agricultural University is a regular undergraduate institution of agriculture and forestry in Beijing. Its history can be traced back to the Tongxian Agricultural School in Hebei Province, which was founded in 1956. It was renamed as Beijing Agricultural School in 1958, moved to its current location in 1961, and was upgraded to Beijing Agricultural Labor University in 1965. It was discontinued during the Cultural Revolution. In 1978, with the approval of the State Council, Beijing Agricultural College was established at its current location.
