Site Description: Foshan University of Science and Technology is located in Foshan, Guangdong Province, a city with profound historical and cultural heritage and strong economic and social development vitality. It is a local comprehensive undergraduate university jointly managed by the province and city, with the city as the main body. In March 1995, the National Education Commission approved the merger and upgrading of Foshan University and Foshan Agriculture and Animal Husbandry College to form Foshan University of Science and Technology. In 2002, the school successfully passed the qualification evaluation of undergraduate teaching organized by the Ministry of Education. Approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province, Foshan Medical College for Employees and Foshan Education College were merged into Foshan University of Science and Technology in 2005. The school is currently divided into four campuses: the main campus, the North Campus, Hebin Road, and Tongji West Road, covering an area of 2210.7 acres and a building area of 345400 square meters. So far, more than 90000 professional talents have been trained for local economic and social development.
