According to the latest report released by Lotu Technology, the online sales of smart tablets in China in August 2023 were 1.02 million units, an increase of 18.5% year-on-year and 10.6% month on month. The sales revenue reached 3.05 billion yuan, an increase of 14.7% year-on-year and 11.7% month on month. The main reasons for the increase in market sales in August were the minimum number of new products from mainstream brands and the promotion activities for the opening season.

The report points out that the top four brands in the Chinese smart tablet market are still relatively stable, with the combined share of Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi, and Honor reaching 67.4%, an increase of 2.4 percentage points year-on-year and 2.5 percentage points month on month. Lenovo has returned to its 5th place brand position through a new product launch. Vivo's latest tablet product has a high cost-effectiveness, with its brand ranking rising from 13th to 7th. With the continuous expansion of the learning tablet market, learning brands such as iFlytek, XRS, and Xiaodu have also entered the top 10 forced rankings.

From the perspective of screen technology, LCD product sales still dominate, exceeding 90%. The sales of electronic paper products accounted for 6.1%, a year-on-year increase of 57%, and a month on month increase of 20%. OLED products are limited by factors such as high prices and a single brand, with sales accounting for only 1.7%. Huawei's latest release of its first flexible OLED tablet is expected to drive market development for this type of technology. Lotu Technology predicts that the total sales of China's smart tablet online market will increase by 8% in the first three quarters of 2023, reaching 8.46 million units.
