The past Golden Week coincided with the "Double Happiness" of National Day and Mid Autumn Festival, and the 8-day holiday also sparked a wave of travel craze. According to the "Golden Week Travel Data Report" released by Gaode Map on October 7th, the enthusiasm for travel among the public has increased. During this year's Golden Week, the total driving navigation mileage of Gaode Map users exceeded 49.1 billion kilometers, equivalent to 10 times the distance from Earth to Pluto; The daily average frequency of navigation to hotels and attractions has increased by 105% and 147% respectively compared to last year, demonstrating a sustained trend of improvement in the cultural and tourism market.

Behind every trip that users use Gaode Navigation, they cannot do without the spatiotemporal positioning service of the BeiDou satellite navigation system. During the Mid Autumn and National Day holiday, the peak number of daily positioning calls from Gaode Maps to BeiDou satellite reached 450 billion times. While creating a new historical high, we are once again promoting the inclusiveness of this "national treasure" in the field of civilian transportation.

It is reported that in November 2022, when positioning on the Gaode map, the contribution rate of Beidou exceeded that of other satellite navigation systems such as GPS. In addition, the Beidou system also ranks first in multiple dimensions such as the average number of satellites used for a single positioning call and the accuracy of civilian positioning, officially achieving comprehensive dominance in domestic navigation application positioning.

This report specifically points out that during the Golden Week, the number of users choosing green transportation methods such as public transportation, subway, cycling, and walking has significantly increased compared to last year, with an average daily travel volume increasing by over 57% year-on-year.

In recent years, with the popularization of concepts such as "CityWalk" and "low-carbon travel", green travel has become a fashion trend for the public, integrating low-carbon emission reduction into daily life. The above data from Gaode Map during the National Day holiday further confirms this trend. It is understood that Beijing MaaS, jointly built by Gaode, pioneered a carbon inclusive model in China in 2020 to encourage users to travel green. As of now, the number of users participating in carbon inclusion on the Gaode platform in Beijing has exceeded 3 million, and the cumulative carbon reduction for green travel has exceeded 400000 tons.

In addition, it is worth mentioning that in recent years, with the continuous support of Gaode Maps for inclusive travel, more and more elderly and disabled people have been provided with more travel convenience. In the past golden week holiday, the number of elderly people traveling through the Gaode Elderly Assistance Taxi Service increased by 198% year-on-year, while wheelchair navigation provided a total of 1.57 million planning services to users within 8 days, equivalent to a total of 3 months of daily planning.

In addition to the research and development of intelligent products, in order to further assist people with inconvenient travel, Gaode Map has also made continuous efforts in service and facility construction. For example, the Helping Elderly Taxi Warm Heart Station has been built and put into use by Gaode in 3300 cities across the country; In the Hangzhou area, nearly 1500 accessible public restrooms have all been connected to Gaode wheelchair navigation.
