Chen Qi, the founder of the well-known AI commercial auction tool WeShop, attended the preparatory meeting and officially joined the "AI Application Working Group". Together with other AI industry experts and elites in the working group, including Li Mingshun (Chairman of Xingxing AI), Fu Sheng (Chairman of Leopard Mobile/Orion Starry Sky), Xie Rudong (Chairman of Yuanwang Technology), and Wu Shichun (Founding Partner of Meihua Capital), 30 people jointly promoted industrial development. Li Ning, Deputy Director of the Industrial Culture Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the event and congratulated the establishment of the AI Application Working Group. He also proposed that the Industrial Culture Development Center will continue to play a platform role in establishing connections between AI application enterprises and industries, truly helping enterprises and empowering them.

It is understood that WeShop is the first AI commercial auction tool in China, developed by the artificial intelligence team of MOGUInc., a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The internal beta version was released in April 2023 and officially launched on May 31, 2023. WeShop focuses on intelligent generation of e-commerce product images, helping brand merchants solve the pain points of high product image shooting costs and expensive models. While efficiently producing high-quality product images, it can significantly save brand merchants' shooting costs. Based on its outstanding application performance, WeShop has accumulated over 100000 e-commerce merchant users through natural growth within six months of its official launch, including cross-border e-commerce sellers as the main users. Therefore, the team launched an international version in early July, providing product services to global e-commerce sellers.

Chen Qi believes that entrepreneurs or managers themselves need to first immerse themselves in the development of AI models in order to lead the transformation of the entire organization and even the industry. It is reported that as a leading figure in AI applications and industrial development, Chen Qi is currently pursuing a PhD in AI at Zhejiang University, participating in academic research. At the same time, he also manages multiple AI technology innovation enterprises as a founder or chairman, including his AI auction tool WeShop, AI technology service provider Ruisha Technology, AI intelligent marketing service provider Aochuang Guangnian, and others. Aochuang Guangnian also announced in August this year that he will receive a round A financing of tens of millions of dollars.

At the preparatory meeting, all members attending the meeting successfully passed the "AI Application Working Group Charter". The AI Application Working Group stated that in the future, it will focus on the following six aspects of work:

1. Help entrepreneurs establish the importance and will of AI application, establish a new technology culture for enterprise AI application, and help entrepreneurs establish AI thinking and AI leadership;

2. Promote innovation in AI applications in various industries, promote interdisciplinary exchange and application of AI technology in the field of industry, academia, and research, and better interact with capital for innovation;

3. Promote the training plan for AI application talents, allowing AI application talents in the industry to promote faster implementation of AI technology;

4. Regularly disclose exciting cases of AI applications in the industry, representative figures of AI application innovation, and AI technology innovation achievements, and promote AI empowerment industries in various industries;

5. Promote policy exchanges between government departments and various fields for AI applications, and provide effective suggestions to promote the implementation of industrial applications.

6. Promote the establishment of AI application industry standards, and better evaluate the effectiveness of application implementation and technology integration, in order to reduce costs and increase efficiency for enterprises.

I believe that with the establishment of the working group and its continued role in the upstream and downstream of AI industry, academia, and research, AI technology will further promote innovation and development in the industrial field, help industrial enterprises achieve intelligent manufacturing and digital transformation, and improve their competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities.
