The China International Aircraft Design Challenge and Research National Aerospace Model Championships are an aerospace research competition that integrates technological innovation, engineering practice, team collaboration, and competitive competition. It is also the only innovative competition in China that integrates aircraft design, manufacturing, flight, and control, targeting national universities and high school students.
At the opening ceremony, there was a brilliant drone performance, with high difficulty flying maneuvers that were dazzling and stunning. The fancy performances adorned the sky with colorful colors.
According to the introduction, this competition is divided into a university group and a high school group. The competition includes two parts: innovation competition and technological innovation evaluation. Participants not only need to personally design and produce their entries, but also must verify the rationality and practicality of the design through public flights, and complete the competition task to obtain corresponding scores.
This competition is hosted by the Aviation Radio Model Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the China Aviation Sports Association, the China University Sports Association, and the National Defense University of Science and Technology. It is also hosted by the School of Aerospace Science of the National Defense University of Science and Technology, the Hunan Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Changsha Municipal People's Government.
