The reporter learned from Yintai that in terms of green logistics alone, Yintai Department Store's annual carbon reduction exceeded 1184 tons, equivalent to the total amount of carbon dioxide absorbed by 5383 trees over 20 years. When consumers use Yintai's green logistics services, they unconsciously support low-carbon environmental protection and practice "green consumption".

At present, the newly upgraded "Green Package" on Meow Street has been calculated for its carbon footprint by Alibaba Cloud Energy Consumption Bao. The accounting report shows that environmentally friendly design and materials are used for both the internal fillers and external packaging materials. Due to measures such as carbon reduction of raw materials and waste recycling during the production process, each green cardboard box has actively reduced carbon by 181.91 grams compared to similar products.

According to logistics industry research, the Chinese express delivery industry consumes nearly ten million tons of paper and plastic packaging materials annually. Thanks to digital technology, Yintai Department Store has achieved paperless checkout in shopping malls, electronic invoices and receipts, online on-site marketing, and digital membership cards and vouchers. According to an Alibaba Group ESG report, Intime Department Store reduced carbon emissions by 210000 tons in the fiscal year 2023. With multiple measures taken simultaneously, over half of Yintai Department Store's stores have been rated as "green shopping malls", and Wulin Yintai has taken the lead in achieving carbon neutrality.
