The 2024 Bund Finance Summit will officially open in Shanghai this Thursday. As a key component of the Summit, the results of the Science and Technology Intelligent Innovation Competition will be announced on September 3rd. This year, the Bund Finance Summit added the Science and Technology Intelligent Innovation Competition for the first time, which includes two sub-competitions: AFAC2024 Financial Intelligence Innovation Competition (AFAC Competition) and Global Deepfake Attack and Defense Challenge (Deepfake Competition). The Deepfake Attack and Defense Competition was won by a team from the University of Macau in the image track and individual participant Tang Yongwei in the audio/video track. The joint team composed of scholars from Hong Kong and Macau excelled in the image track, achieving a deepfake identification rate of 97.038% for multiple types and scenes. Individual participant Tang Yongwei, who had self-learned computer science, has won numerous AI competitions and ultimately emerged victorious in the video track. Notably, Tang Yongwei also won second place in the AFAC Competition's financial tool learning topic, making him a true "double champion."

The competition organizers stated that the event attracted over 10,000 "sharpest minds" globally, providing a platform for innovators, relevant industries and companies, and the entire city.
