On November 13th, 360 Group and China Telecom Yunnan Company officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Both parties will engage in in-depth collaboration centered around digital security, artificial intelligence, and government and enterprise ICT projects, jointly building a service ecosystem with complementary advantages and resource sharing. This cooperation aims to enhance the economic and social benefits of both parties in their respective fields, while providing robust support for the digital economic development of Chinese companies going global and the security construction of the "Two Asia Information Corridor."
At the signing ceremony, Chen Zhiqiang, General Manager of China Telecom Yunnan Company, and Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360 Group, witnessed this significant moment. Wang Haiyang, Deputy General Manager of China Telecom Yunnan Company, and Hu Zhenquan, President of 360 Digital Security Group, signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of their respective parties.
On July 10th this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved the establishment of an international telecommunications business entry and exit bureau in Kunming, Yunnan, by China Telecom Group. The construction of this national-level information and communication infrastructure signifies interconnectivity and data exchange between domestic and foreign operators.
Chen Zhiqiang, General Manager of China Telecom Yunnan Company, stated in his speech that the company will fully leverage this historical opportunity and capitalize on Yunnan's unique geographical advantages to provide comprehensive communication and information services for enterprise digital transformation, cross-border communication, secure cloud adoption, and DCI (Data Center Interconnect) connection needs. He emphasized that 360 Group's deep accumulation in the security field lays a solid foundation for the cooperation, expressing his expectation for further collaboration to jointly enhance communication security capabilities, deliver superior services to customers, and expand into Yunnan's government and enterprise market, SME market, and overseas enterprise market.
Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360 Group, stated that Yunnan, as a crucial hub connecting Southeast Asia and South Asia, provides a significant platform for Chinese companies to "go global" and compete in the international market. In recent years, 360 has consistently focused on Yunnan's development and established deep partnerships with the Yunnan Provincial Government in various areas. He expressed his hope in this collaboration to leverage Yunnan Telecom's business foundation to provide comprehensive security safeguards in cloud, network, and data application aspects.
Zhou Hongyi outlined three expectations for the collaboration:
- First, jointly build a communication and security stronghold to establish a cybersecurity system for Yunnan and neighboring regions.
- Second, work together to foster innovation capabilities, particularly promoting the industrialization of large models in Yunnan, such as establishing a "City Large Model Service Center," to powerfully support cities, governments, enterprises, and ecosystem partners.
- Third, establish an efficient collaborative working system to ensure continuous deepening of the cooperation and sharing of achievements.
In the discussion session, Hu Zhenquan, President of 360 Digital Security Group, stated that with the rapid development and application of AI technology, the construction of a security foundation for information and communication infrastructure is becoming increasingly urgent. In this collaboration, 360 will leverage its strengths in APT (Advanced Persistent Threat) attack capture, threat intelligence, security operations, and AI security protection to work together with Yunnan Telecom to build a digital security protection system and address complex security challenges.
The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement represents a crucial initiative for both 360 Group and China Telecom Yunnan Company to seize opportunities and seek common development in the new landscape. Moving forward, both parties will work collaboratively to contribute even more towards the security construction of the "Two Asia Information Corridor."
The significance of this collaboration lies in:
- Both parties will leverage their respective advantages to jointly build a service ecosystem, enhancing the economic and social benefits in their respective fields.
- The collaboration will provide robust support for the digital economic development of Chinese companies going global and the security construction of the "Two Asia Information Corridor."
- Both parties will work together to enhance communication security capabilities, providing better services to users.
Highlights of the collaboration include:
- Both parties will jointly build a digital security protection system to address complex security challenges.
- Both parties will jointly promote the industrialization of large models in Yunnan, providing powerful support to cities, governments, enterprises, and ecosystem partners.
- Both parties will establish an efficient collaborative working system to ensure continuous deepening of the cooperation and sharing of achievements.
