At the meeting, TCL founder and chairman Li Dongsheng delivered a keynote speech titled "Jointly Building an Industrial Innovation Ecology and Seeking High Quality Development". He said, "In the face of the current economic situation, the key to seizing opportunities lies in achieving high-quality development of enterprises, that is, internally improving their core competitiveness and enhancing their internal development momentum; externally, strengthening ecological cooperation between enterprises and industries

Li Dongsheng introduced that TCL is committed to working with a wide range of ecological partners to create an ecosystem of independent innovation and green development, enhance industrial resilience, and achieve sustainable industrial development. In terms of jointly promoting industrial innovation and upgrading, since the "Rising Sun Plan" was launched at the TCL Global Ecological Partnership Conference in 2021, TCL has cooperated with multiple enterprises and institutions and initiated over 90 joint research and development projects; Establish 17 joint laboratories and 11 national innovation platforms; Continuously promote the construction of two national level innovation and technology centers; Collaborated with over 30 strategic institutions to promote the establishment of 7 industrial ecological alliances. At the 2023 Summer Davos Forum held earlier, Li Dongsheng proposed that "green development is not an option, but a necessary option." At the meeting, TCL Technology Group's Chief Operating Officer Wang Cheng, as a representative, released a carbon neutrality white paper and shared green practice cases.

From an industrial perspective, Du Juan, CEO of TCL Industry, proposed that building a prosperous ecosystem with partners will be the core competitiveness of TCL's future development of intelligent terminals. TCL Industry adheres to the cooperation concept of integrity, altruism, and mutual achievement, firmly working together with global partners to build a diverse, open, green, and sustainable ecosystem. At the same time, we also invite more partners to join TCL Industry's "dual carbon" plan, strengthening the construction of a low-carbon, environmentally friendly green ecosystem in the dimensions of design, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and recycling.

Regarding the construction of a green ecosystem and the high-quality growth of the future display industry, Zhao Jun, Senior Vice President of TCL Technology and CEO of TCL Huaxing, stated that taking the path of coordinated and integrated development of green economy and digital economy is taking the path of high-quality development of the display industry. The display industry needs to continue to make efforts in both product technology innovation and coordinated development of green ecology. TCL Huaxing will achieve green production, green recycling, and green supply chain through technology empowerment and digital "carbon management", helping to achieve the annual carbon emission intensity target of reducing 3% to 5%, and contributing TCL Huaxing's strength to the TCL Carbon Neutrality Action Plan.

In the field of new energy photovoltaic, Shen Haoping, Senior Vice President of TCL Technology and General Manager of TCL Central, proposed that TCL Central will use technological innovation to achieve leading differentiation, transformation of manufacturing methods, and globalization strategies, helping the new energy photovoltaic industry move towards high-quality development. At the same time, according to Qin Shilong, Deputy General Manager and Secretary of the Board of Directors of TCL Central, TCL Central adheres to the sustainable development vision of "environmental friendliness, employee love, social respect, and customer trust", promotes manufacturing transformation with Industry 4.0, promotes technological iteration and improvement of manufacturing level, and leads industry transformation and upgrading. TCL Central will continue to collaborate with upstream and downstream industries to explore new paths for high-quality and sustainable development of the photovoltaic industry, providing strong impetus for achieving the "dual carbon" goals and promoting global clean energy transformation.

In addition, regarding the co construction of a technology ecosystem, Yan Xiaolin, Chief Technology Officer of TCL Technology Group, introduced that TCL has formed an overall technology strategy for display technology, new energy photovoltaic, intelligent technology, and AI technology. TCL will continue to collaborate with innovation platforms, expert consultants, university cooperation, and industry chain cooperation to create a technology ecosystem strategy and help create an open and cooperative industrial technology ecosystem.

On the day of the conference, the first national level "double cross" platform upgrade and the settlement ceremony of Gechuang Dongzhi in Hubei Province were also held. The Dongzhi Industrial Application Intelligent Platform created by Gechuang Dongzhi is a national level "cross industry, cross domain" industrial internet platform (referred to as "double cross" platform) originating from the semiconductor manufacturing industry. This settlement in Hubei will play an important role in the high-quality development and new industrialization process of the local manufacturing industry.

It is reported that after verification by a third-party authoritative organization, the conference generated net greenhouse gas emissions of 185.76 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent from electricity, heating, transportation, accommodation, catering, materials, etc., which were fully offset by the cancellation of certified emission reductions (VCUs), achieving a zero carbon conference.
