When I woke up, there were four great news about Chinese technology, and I felt refreshed!
Firstly, the self-developed success has been achieved: AG600 has completed the fire extinguishing scenario test flight and entered the airworthiness verification stage
According to CCTV News, China's self-developed large firefighting/water rescue aircraft AG600 has the ability to carry out firefighting tasks. Aviation Industry Corporation of China recently announced that our "Kunlong" AG600 has completed the verification flight of a typical fire fighting scenario. This important progress indicates that AG600 is ready to carry out firefighting tasks.
In the first half of this year, AG600 conducted test flights in Zhuhai, Guangdong, Pucheng, Shaanxi, Jingmen, Hubei, Anshun, Guizhou, Liupanshui, Xichang, Sichuan, and other places. Three test planes completed a total of 172 sorties/430 hour flight tests, verifying key subjects such as aircraft stall and maneuvering characteristics, as well as confirming the firefighting task system.
The AG600 has been validated in various mission modes, including 12 ton full throw, 6 ton/3 ton continuous throw, and other different throwing modes, as well as tests under different throwing postures such as level flight, turning, and diving, from 23 to 100 meters at different flying altitudes, and from 220 to 284 kilometers per hour at different throwing speeds. All relevant technical indicators meet the design requirements, proving that AG600 has the practical application ability to safely carry out firefighting tasks.
The "Kunlong" AG600 has now fully entered the airworthiness verification stage and plans to obtain a model certificate in 2024.
My viewpoint:The progress of China's independently developed AG600 is remarkableEvidence of independent innovation capability in the aviation industry. AG600 not only has the ability to perform firefighting tasks, but also reflects the core technology of China's aviation industry. This progress not onlyIt is of great significance for enhancing China's ability to respond to natural disastersIt has also opened a new chapter for the development of China's aviation industry.
Second: Innovation breakthrough under technology ban: research and development progress of new flash memory of Yangtze Memory Technologies
According to Fast Technology, despite the US technology ban, China's Yangtze Memory Technologies has innovated to change the status quo. Yangtze Memory Technologies is developing a new type of flash memory. Although the number of layers is only 128, it uses the Xstacking2.0 architecture of the previous generation of crystal stack, and the interface speed has reached 2400MT/s. Although this new type of flash memory has a small capacity, its performance is quite outstanding.
This technology can not be realized without the unique double wafer bonding mode of Yangtze Memory Technologies. By processing storage cells and peripheral circuits on two independent wafers, and replacing the latter, this low-density and high-speed flash memory is achieved. This technical strategy ensures that even within the limit of 128 layers, it will not cause waste of existing technology.
On the other hand, the price of 512Gb flash memory chip of Yangtze Memory Technologies rose from $1.35 to $1.6 in May, which also attracted extensive attention from the outside world. Some people believe that Yangtze Memory Technologies's confidence comes from government subsidies and the market gap in key areas after Meguiar's purchase is limited.
My viewpoint:In the face of the technical ban, Yangtze Memory Technologies,Through innovative breakthroughs, it showcases the resilience and innovative spirit of China's technological strength. Faced with technological lockdowns, that's all we needContinuously innovate and use technology to drive the industryDevelopment of. The price increase reflects the supply and demand relationship in the flash memory market and also indicates the value of flash memory technology in China.
Third: a new milestone in space science: Chinese Academy of Sciences unveils the first Space telescope successor
According to CCTV News, at the recent symposium on scientific research held by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wang Yifang, the director of the institute, revealed some significant progress in the field of space research in China. Chinese scientists are promoting the new generation of space science satellites - the enhanced X-ray time-varying and polarized space observatory eXTP project. This is a major international cooperation project initiated and led by China, which is expected to surpass the detection capabilities of China's first space telescope, the "Huiyan" satellite.
Wang Yifang also mentioned a high-energy Cosmic ray observation device project to be equipped on the Chinese space station. This project has been in preparation for many years and is expected to be launched around 2027. It has now entered the formal construction phase. Meanwhile, the high-energy Synchrotron light source, a major national science and technology infrastructure, is expected to be completed and put into use in 2025. This will be the first high-energy Synchrotron light source in China and one of the four brightest Synchrotron light source in the world.
Phase II construction of spallation Neutron source in Guangdong has also entered the planning stage and is expected to start this year. These projects will not only provide the most advanced research methods in the fields of condensed matter, materials, geology, environment, etc., but also promote China's technological breakthroughs and achievements in cutting-edge scientific fields.
The Chinese Academy of Sciences is deepening the reform of the system and mechanism, forming a scientific research model with clear division of labor and efficient collaboration, so as to improve the overall innovation ability and output major achievements. As the main force of the national strategic science and technology force, the scientific research force of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is planning and deploying reform, innovation and development in the future.
My viewpoint:These major projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences indicate thatSignificant improvement in technology and research capabilities in cutting-edge scientific fields, especially in space science. With the implementation of these projects, we look forward to seeing more technological breakthroughs and significant achievements, further promoting the improvement of China's scientific and technological strength and the deepening of scientific research.
Fourth: 30 minutes of hydrogenation and 32 hours of operation! The birth of the first hydrogen powered subway operating vehicle in China
According to Science and Technology Daily, in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, the first domestic hydrogen energy subway construction vehicle innovatively walked off the production line. This vehicle is designed to use the Hydrogen fuel battery and lithium battery hybrid power system as the traction power, and can run continuously for up to 32 hours after a short 30 minute hydrogenation. The design can reach a speed of 80 kilometers per hour and reduce carbon emissions by 225 tons throughout its entire lifecycle, making it more environmentally friendly than traditional fuel powered vehicles.
In addition, this hydrogen energy work vehicle does not require the installation of a power grid during operation, and there is no emission of exhaust gas and noise, which has great application prospects. It can not only play a role in subway construction, but also be widely used in tunnel, mining and other operational fields.
The development of this car was jointly completed by China Railway Wuhan Electrification Bureau and Sichuan Rong Chuangxinneng Company, a scientific and technological achievements transformation enterprise of Southwest Jiaotong University. As an important base of new energy vehicle industry, Xiangyang has the construction advantages of the first Hydrogen fuel cell demonstration production line project and 10 billion level hydrogen energy project in Hubei, which provides favorable conditions for the large-scale development of hydrogen energy vehicles.
The hydrogen energy operation vehicle production base constructed by China Railway Wuhan Electrification Bureau in Xiangyang will further promote Xiangyang to become a high-end equipment manufacturing base in the central region. In response, the relevant person in charge of the Hubei Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology stated that a series of policies have been introduced at the national and provincial levels, establishing hydrogen energy as a key direction for the development of strategic emerging industries.
My viewpoint:The successful development of this hydrogen powered subway construction vehicle not only demonstrates China's breakthrough in new energy technology, but alsoOpening up new possibilities for green innovation in the industry. Its emergence indicates that China is promotingGreen transportation,Reduce carbon emissionsSubstantial progress is being made in this regard.
