On September 15th, the 2023 Shenzhen Rail Transit Intelligent Construction and Quality Monthly Observation Conference was held in the second phase of the Shenzhen Metro Line 16 project in Guangdong Province, where more than 10 intelligent and digital "black technologies" were unveiled.

The location of this observation meeting is Longxing Station, the second phase project of Shenzhen Metro Line 16. This station is one of the first fully assembled pilot subway stations under construction in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao under the internal support system. The station is a double island platform station with a total length of 298 meters, consisting of 595 "building blocks" assembled in sequence, and the overall assembly rate reaches 79.5%.

Ding Ze, the project leader of Shenzhen Metro Line 16 Phase 2 and Work Area 4 of China Railway 14th Bureau Group, introduced that this exhibition has developed an intelligent production system for prefabricated components. Prefabricated components are produced through a "1+3" fully automated assembly line and transported to the site according to on-site construction production needs. The on-site construction personnel complete the assembly of prefabricated components like "building blocks", not only achieving the factory production of building structure construction, It also reduces dust and noise at the construction site. Compared with traditional stations, Longxing Station has reduced construction waste by nearly 80%. During the peak construction period of Longxing Station, there are only 40 on-site workers, which is about 80% less than traditional cast-in-place construction.

The reporter saw at the observation meeting that a 360 degree self rotating, 180 ton gantry crane was lifting and moving a huge prefabricated roof.

This is our high-precision multifunctional gantry lifting device that can achieve precise lifting of large prefabricated components, "Ding Ze said. The prefabricated component being lifted is the top plate of Longxing Station, weighing up to 128.8 tons. Through control systems such as crane automatic control and automatic positioning of large and small vehicles, the efficiency, accuracy, and safety are far superior to traditional lifting equipment, achieving millimeter level precision assembly.

Not only that, the reporter also saw on site the "strongest brain" of subway construction - the digital management system of rail transit engineering.

Wu Zhaojin, Project Manager of the Second Phase Project Department of Line 16 of Shenzhen Railway Construction Group, introduced that the system can quickly gather information such as events, scenes, and tasks, providing data support for on-site command centers, remote command centers, and expert assisted decision-making. It can also generate a visual command system architecture based on digital contingency plans, respond to tasks, and issue tasks with one click. Construction management personnel can manage all work points through a single map.

It is worth mentioning that various "black technologies" such as AI algorithms, automatic monitoring of equipment status, full lifecycle BIM visualization platform, intelligent control platform for shield tunneling, intelligent scheduling system for track operations, automatic monitoring system, digital construction technology for mechanical and electrical engineering, assembly and construction technology for subway station partitions, and fully mechanized assembly technology have also made Shenzhen subway construction "smart and visible".

Wu Zhaojin stated that the application of diversified digital intelligence technology has not only enabled them to shift from "civil defense" to "technical defense" in safety management, but also achieved scientific, intelligent and efficient management in geological exploration, design optimization, engineering quality control, mechanized personnel reduction, engineering promotion, and industrial worker cultivation.
