At the opening ceremony, the person in charge of the Weihai Sea Cucumber Industry Association stated that it is expected that Weihai Sea Cucumber will achieve a high yield during this autumn harvesting season. Last year, the total production of autumn harvesting was 40000 tons, and this year's autumn harvesting is expected to reach 45000 tons, an increase of 10%.

In addition, in terms of price, the live wild Weihai sea cucumber last year was 120 yuan/jin, and the artificially raised and bottom sown sea cucumber was 65 yuan/jin. This year, due to strong demand, prices are expected to rise by 10%. Wild sea cucumbers will cost 130 yuan per kilogram, and artificial seedling and bottom sowing sea cucumbers will cost 70 yuan per kilogram.

It is reported that during this year's JD Agricultural and Specialty Shopping Festival, JD Supermarket has launched the "Weihai Sea Cucumber JD Fresh Arrival" special session, jointly launching over a hundred products with local top brands in Weihai. Among them, the subsidy for ready to eat sea cucumbers is as high as 140 yuan per kilogram, while one light dried sea cucumber is only 9.9 yuan.
