Recently, the second phase project of China Mobile (Zhuzhou, Hunan) Data Center was successfully capped ahead of schedule, indicating that Hunan Mobile has made breakthrough progress in the construction of the "3+14+X" computing power network system centered on the data center clusters of Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan.Since the start of construction in March 2023, the work team has overcome many adverse factors such as scorching heat and rainy weather, and completed the main construction of over 40000 square meters in just 60 days

Recently, the second phase project of China Mobile (Zhuzhou, Hunan) Data Center was successfully capped ahead of schedule, indicating that Hunan Mobile has made breakthrough progress in the construction of the "3+14+X" computing power network system centered on the data center clusters of Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan.

Since the start of construction in March 2023, the work team has overcome many adverse factors such as scorching heat and rainy weather, and completed the main construction of over 40000 square meters in just 60 days. Currently, both data machine buildings have been roofed. The subsequent indoor and outdoor supporting projects, as well as the installation of large and small electromechanical equipment, will be fully carried out. The project team will coordinate the construction pace of various specialties, strengthen management efficiency, and ensure that the second phase of Zhuzhou Data Center will be put into operation in June 2024.

During the construction period of this project, the work team adopted a digital, refined, and standardized management model. Through WBS task goal decomposition, the key tasks for daily and weekly work were quantified, and a detailed project task list was prepared. High goals were effectively achieved to drive key goals in each stage. At the same time, we actively strengthened reporting and communication with various departments of the Zhuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee, established a coordination office mechanism, optimized the external environment for construction, and promptly resolved key and difficult issues. In addition, during the main construction phase of the project, the management team invested nearly 40 people per day, with over 330 construction workers invested. The timely allocation of work tasks effectively ensured the project progress.

This project is the largest data center laid out by Hunan Mobile in the province, planned and constructed in accordance with international T3+and CQCA level (GB50174-2017) standards. It innovatively applies eight advanced green and low-carbon technologies in the industry, including immersion liquid cooling, AI energy-saving, indirect evaporative cooling, high-efficiency uninterrupted power supply systems, and smart micro modules. The designed PUE value is less than 1.252, and the reliability of power supply and cooling reaches 99.99%. After comprehensive completion, it can provide a capacity of 14000 racks, forming a comprehensive cloud computing public platform that integrates infrastructure, platforms, applications, and networks.
