The two planes lifted off the ground and flew side by side on the north-south runways, marking the beginning of the trial operation of the Haikou Meilan Airport takeoff program based on isolated parallel operation mode for the nearest runway by the Hainan Air Traffic Control Branch of the Civil Aviation Administration. After adjustment, the two parallel runways of Haikou Meilan Airport are equipped with a single runway takeoff interval, and the operation mode of taking off from the nearest runway is arranged for nearby stands. The aircraft can achieve takeoff from the nearest runway. The average ground taxiing time for outbound flights is reduced by 2000 meters, with a maximum of 3800 meters. The overall taxiing time is reduced by about 3-5 minutes, further improving the normal level of flights at Haikou Meilan Airport, and the overall operational efficiency of the airport will be further improved. At the same time, it saves fuel consumption for airlines and helps them transform efficiency into efficiency. Reducing ground taxiing detours is a major breakthrough in the dual runway operation program and an upgrade in the efficiency of dual runway operation.
