At the grand opening and closing ceremonies of the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games, a delicate telescope was placed in front of the seats of leaders from various countries.

This special telescope for the podium is from the Aiski brand founded by outstanding alumnus Wang Jianping of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics. The telescope not only provides leaders of various countries with a clear perspective to appreciate this grand event, but also demonstrates the extraordinary strength and influence of China's intelligent manufacturing.

Just to achieve 'high standards' for the product

In the preparation process for the Asian Games, the organizing committee of the Asian Games, after strict screening among numerous telescope brands, ultimately chose Aiski Company founded by Wang Jianping as the provider of dedicated telescopes for the podium.

The special telescope for the Hangzhou Asian Games podium not only adopts advanced ED flat field technology, but also adopts an internationally leading prism system. In response to the significant distortion problem of many telescopes produced in China many years ago (that is, when observing objects, the image is clear in the middle and blurry on both sides, causing the entire image to bend and deform), his research and development team has successfully launched multiple ED flat field telescopes after more than a year of effort, achieving a flat and three-dimensional image that is almost identical to the visual effect. The application of this innovative technology has broken the monopoly position of foreign brands, representing that the core technological competitiveness of China's high-end telescope products has entered the world-class level.

On the basis of existing product technology, the design team adheres to the design concept of "people-oriented, machine assisted, and human-machine integration", and in just three months, has designed over fifty versions of pure manual telescope design sketches. These design sketches incorporate the team's profound humanistic design philosophy, giving the machine vitality. At the same time, the innovative use of digital design technology and virtual simulation systems facilitates the organizers' staff to engage in immersive product customization.

In order to achieve the ultimate quality of the product, the design team began to conduct combination research on various materials from a theoretical perspective. After multiple sample tests, a design scheme combining environmentally friendly materials with lightweight magnesium alloy materials was finally determined. This scheme is not only environmentally friendly and lightweight, but also combines the beauty of modern technology and art, winning high recognition from the organizers.

Fourteen years of arduous work

Only for creating excellent domestic high-end brands

Wang Jianping's entrepreneurial journey was not smooth sailing. During his university years, he purchased some low-end telescopes without brand logos at the Yiwu Small Commodity Market and labeled them with his own "live" brand for sale. He named his low-end telescope brand "Alive" because at the time, he did his best but barely survived. Faced with the pressure of inconvenient transportation and financial constraints, he was unable to stay locally. He had to commute between Hangzhou and Yiwu every day and take the latest bus back at night. Due to the lack of funds, he was unable to stock up in bulk, so he had to frequently travel between Hangzhou and Yiwu. During the entire university period, he went to Yiwu more than 100 times.

This difficult living conditions did not dampen his passion and firm belief in entrepreneurship. After graduating from Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics in 2008, he worked during the day to earn living expenses, and conducted research on the telescope product market at night and on weekends to find suitable entrepreneurial directions.

During the research process, he found that foreign brand telescopes not only have high premiums, but also have problems such as long booking cycles, limited purchasing channels, and long after-sales cycles. Therefore, in order to enable domestic telescope consumers to use and purchase with peace of mind, Wang Jianping founded Hangzhou Aiski Optical Instrument Co., Ltd. in Hangzhou in 2009.

Over the past fourteen years, Wang Jianping has been increasingly frustrated and brave in his entrepreneurial journey. Aiski has gradually grown from a small startup company to a well-known enterprise with over 50 domestic and foreign invention patents, as well as patents for the use of new models and appearances. In addition, the company actively cooperates with leading domestic and foreign enterprises such as Haikang Microfilm and China National Weapon Group to provide higher quality optoelectronic fusion products to global consumers.

Just to be grateful for the kindness nurtured by our alma mater

Back then, I had to rely on work-study programs and student loans to continue my studies, "Wang Jianping recalled.

Wang Jianping came from a poor background and was once unable to afford college tuition and complete his studies. But with the full help of teachers and classmates from his alma mater Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, Wang Jianping successfully completed his studies. The kindness of his alma mater was deeply imprinted in his heart and had always influenced his values.

During his university years, Wang Jianping actively participated in the school enterprise cooperation projects of the college. "Wang Jianping seized various opportunities and was very active in participating in school enterprise cooperation projects. He was usually the first student to propose projects to me," recalled Chen Mingjing, Wang Jianping's teacher at the time.

The cultivation of my alma mater has given me strength and confidence throughout my life, and the care and trust of my teachers is what I need to give back throughout my life. Like many responsible entrepreneurs, Wang Jianping's first thought after achieving personal success in his career is to repay the kindness of his alma mater.

Now, he will frequently contact the college to provide some assistance. From the perspective of social entrepreneurs, he will help the college develop suitable training plans for students, provide ideas for innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and so on. "Teacher Chen Mingjing mentioned.

Even during the epidemic period, when the company encountered difficulties in development, Wang Jianping disregarded the school's "dissuasion" and donated 300000 yuan to the school to establish the "Aiski Dengfeng" fund to motivate Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics master's students to continue pursuing doctoral studies. On October 24th of this year, Wang Jianping will return to his alma mater to award scholarships to the winners of the first "Aiski Climbing the Peak" scholarship, and present them with the same telescope as the Asian Games podium. He hopes that they can continue to pursue excellence on the academic path, climb new heights bravely, achieve greater life value, and make positive contributions to social development, just like the name of this scholarship.

Aiski and Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics jointly built an entrepreneurship and innovation base

In addition to scholarships, he also insists on providing employment internship positions for his younger students and supports their innovation and entrepreneurship projects out of his own pocket. He has invested in the campus "Baby Care Smart Eye" project (Baby Intelligent Monitor) and invested in the Angel Wheel Fund. In October of this year, Wang Jianping's company officially established an innovation and entrepreneurship practice base with Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, providing a practical platform for more Zhejiang University students' entrepreneurial dreams in the future.

The school cultivates talents, creates society, and society gives back to the campus, which is the social mutual assistance cycle that Wang Jianping aspires to achieve. For a child who comes out of the countryside, Wang Jianping deeply understands the importance of knowledge for a person, which is also his original intention to continue giving back to his alma mater after achieving success.
