Recently, the offline competition of the "2023 China Robotics Competition and RoboCup China" kicked off in Jinjiang, Fujian, China. The competition lasted for three days and attracted 260 schools, including Tsinghua University, Tongji University, Zhejiang University, and 1084 teams to participate. The number of applicants exceeded 5000. The competition includes 24 major events and 52 minor events in the university group; The youth group has 5 major events and 1 minor event, resulting in 66 champion teams, 60 runner up teams, and 54 third place teams.

Li Shaoyuan, Vice Chairman of the China Association of Automation, stated that the China Robotics Competition has always been aimed at cultivating students' theoretical application and engineering practice abilities. In recent years, it has trained a group of outstanding talents to enter relevant scientific research and enterprise positions, and the scale and impact of the competition have gradually expanded.

The China Robotics Competition and RoboCup Robot World Cup China Competition is currently one of the most influential and comprehensive robotics competitions in China. It is a major exchange event for intelligent manufacturing technology and high-end talents in China today. The competition system is held once a year, and since the first competition was held in 1999, it has been held for 24 consecutive sessions.

This competition is hosted by the Chinese Society of Automation, RoboCup China Committee, Jinjiang Municipal Government, and Quanzhou Science and Technology Bureau. It is jointly organized by the Robotics Competition and Training Department of the Chinese Society of Automation, the Robotics Competition Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Automation, the Talent Office of the Communist Party of China Jinjiang Municipal Committee, and the Jinjiang Science and Technology Bureau.
