On November 8th, Shenzhen Institute of Computing Sciences (referred to as "Shenzhen Institute") released its self-designed and developed domestic new database system YashanDB for the year 2023. The Yashan database system shared cluster, spatial database, and real-time data warehouse three new products, as well as five industry-level solutions, were unveiled.

It is understood that the YashanDB database system independently developed by the Shenzhen Institute of Computing Technology is based on the breakthrough in cutting-edge basic theory of databases. From core theory to key systems, it is original in China and has international advantages in performance indicators.

It is worth mentioning that YashanDB has also achieved a milestone breakthrough in the research and development of "shared clusters". The new product YashanDB shared cluster further enhances the high availability and powerful performance of domestic databases in key scenarios. After on-site testing and verification at the press conference, the performance of YashanDB shared cluster has exceeded 50% of mainstream international databases, laying a solid foundation for the application of domestic databases in fields such as finance, operators, and national economy and people's livelihood. In addition, the YashanDB spatial database, as the foundation of the spatiotemporal big data platform, provides strong support for the high-quality development of smart cities and digital governments.

It is reported that YashanDB has collaborated with partners such as Shenzhen Smart City, Changliang Technology, Kingdee, Chaotu, and DSG to jointly release five major industry data management solutions: smart city, financial core, assemblable enterprise level PaaS platform, spatial data management, and data interaction. At present, YashanDB has been launched and applied in dozens of important core business systems in key industries such as finance, government, state-owned enterprises, and energy. For example, during the migration process of a certain bank's CRM system, a smooth migration of 100000 rows of stored procedures was achieved, significantly reducing the cost of enterprise replacement and transformation, and meeting users' requirements for high performance, high availability, and high security.

In addition, in order to promote the domestic database system on a larger scale, YashanDB Personal Edition has been officially launched and is fully open to all industry users and developers.
