It is reported that the angel+round investors of Xingji Meizu in the first half of the year were Rongyi Investment, Xingyuan Fund, Wuhan Economic Development, etc., while the recent A-round leading investors were Asia Investment Fund and Harvest International, QCCapital, Wuhan Economic Development, and industrial chain partners.

After billions of funds have been invested, it is foreseeable that Xingji Meizu will officially launch an attack in the automotive industry, marking the beginning of a series of organizational and personnel adjustments.

36 Kr learned that Su Jing, the co founder and former CFO of the company, will be promoted to the position of president, responsible for daily operations. Qi Weimin, the former executive vice president and head of the operating system of the company, will serve as CFO to take over financial and investment and financing related work, while Shen Ziyu will continue to serve as chairman and CEO, in charge of the company's overall work. In addition, it is revealed that executives from car companies such as Great Wall and Xiaopeng have already joined.

According to reports, Su Jing, who is about to serve as the CEO, was previously responsible for the investment, financing, and daily operations of Star Age Meizu. She participated in leading the acquisition of Meizu by Star Age and establishing a new joint venture with Jixing Automobile. After assuming the position of President, Su Jing's energy will be focused on the company's business operations, promoting cooperation with Jixing Motors and the implementation of other businesses.

In 2022, Geely Chairman Li Shufu's subsidiary, Xingji Era, incorporated Meizu smartphones into the company, forming Xingji Meizu.

Huawei is positioned as an incremental component to help car companies build good cars. Xiaomi is an externalized force that independently builds cars, while Meizu smartphones are included in the car company system and serve the automotive Zhilian ecosystem. Different paths lead to the same goal, and behind it, technology companies are transforming their appeal to new consumer groups and their ability to define technology products into potential energy through the automotive manufacturing industry.

In June of this year, Xingji Meizu took another step towards car manufacturing business and reached a cooperation with Geely series car brand Jixing Automobile. The joint venture company will create an intelligent operating system for the Chinese market for Jixing Automobile, and be responsible for Jixing's sales and services in China.

Similar to Huawei's intelligent car selection model, Xingji Meizu will provide exclusive intelligent operating systems for the models of Jixing in the Chinese market, leading the product definition of new models. This may be the foundation for Xingji Meizu to obtain 2 billion yuan in financing under the sluggish capital market.

Huawei has made Wenjie Automobile famous almost overnight by providing products, technology, and brand image resources to partners such as Celes. Recently, with the launch of new products such as the M7, Wenjie has also won explosive orders.

Xingji Meizu has taken a similar path, proposing the concept of "mobile domain", which goes beyond the five domains of traditional cars (power domain, chassis domain, body domain, cockpit domain, and autonomous driving domain) to empower smart cars with consumer electronics.

Based on this, Xingji Meizu has self-developed the car engine system FlymeAuto and integrated it with the 7nm car grade chip "Longying No.1" and the Yikatong Antola 1000Pro platform of Geely based company Xinqing Technology. At present, this set of software and hardware products has been delivered on the Geely series car brand Lingke 08, helping this car sell over 10000 yuan within less than two months of its launch.

After Xingji Meizu and Jixing Automobile teamed up and seized richer development resources, there is no doubt that they also need to achieve market breakthroughs faster.

Polar Star Motors was jointly funded by Volvo and Geely, with its headquarters located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Backed by Volvo, Jixing Motors defines intelligent electric vehicles in the Nordic design language. However, currently, Jixing Motors only has one Polestar2 that has been delivered in large quantities. The delivery performance of 41800 vehicles in the first three quarters is still not robust enough for the automotive industry.

Whether it is grafting Geely's manufacturing and research and development capabilities, or the product and software system of Xingji Meizu, it is a top priority for Jixing.

It is reported that the first product jointly produced by Xingji Meizu and Jixing, Jixing 4, has recently been taken offline. This car is developed based on SEA's vast architecture and is equipped with the Jixing operating system PolestarOS, which is designed for the Chinese market. In addition, Xingji Meizu and Jixing have jointly developed a mobile phone called Jixing to create a seamless user experience.

The intelligent upgrade of vehicle software will undoubtedly complement the shortcomings of the Polar Star model, and the development and delivery of the Polestar4 will also provide training for the system built by the Star Meizu.
