According to insiders in the industry, ByteDance has purchased 100000 A100 and H800 accelerator cards, of which the H800 started production in March this year. At present, the purchase volume of ByteDance alone this year is close to the total sales volume of commercial GPUs sold by Nvidia in China last year.

The source said that big companies such as Byte and Ali mainly talked directly with Nvidia about purchasing, because agents and the second-hand market could not meet their huge demand, and Nvidia would give a discount according to the catalog price and purchase scale.

At present, the price of an A100 on Nvidia's official website is 10000 US dollars, about 71500 yuan, and the H100 is 36000 US dollars, about 257000 yuan.
