The high-quality development of the manufacturing industry is an important aspect of high-quality economic development. At present, China's economy is showing a relatively good rebound trend and still has many unique advantages, including huge market potential, perfect supply system, abundant human capital, enhanced technological strength, optimized business environment, and strong macroeconomic regulation. These favorable factors are the foundation for us to overcome difficulties and challenges, and also lay a solid foundation for promoting high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. At present and in the future, we need to focus on three key areas to better promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.

Secondly, accelerate the transformation of digital intelligence and greening. The traditional manufacturing industry in Foshan has a strong foundation and a large scale. Accelerating the digital and intelligent transformation and green transformation of the manufacturing industry is the trend. In recent years, Foshan has actively deployed and vigorously promoted in this area, achieving significant results. Next, special attention should be paid to improving the infrastructure construction of the digital economy, promoting the connectivity and sharing of manufacturing data, supporting the digital and intelligent transformation of internal equipment of enterprises, strengthening the cultivation and introduction of professional and composite talents, optimizing the business environment of the digital economy, and improving the governance capabilities of the digital economy. Efforts should be made to create demonstration models and form new competitive advantages.

Thirdly, promote the optimization of the business environment. A good business environment is the fundamental condition for development, and promoting high-quality development of the manufacturing industry cannot be separated from a good business environment. The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasizes the creation of a market-oriented, legal, and international first-class business environment. All regions should effectively implement the requirements of the Party Central Committee, closely combine their own actual needs and enterprise needs, focus on solving deep-seated problems, and deeply promote the optimization of the business environment. From a more macro perspective, to promote the optimization of the business environment, we need to focus on improving the public opinion environment for the development of the private economy. For those incorrect statements that do not conform to the spirit of the central government, timely refutation and clarification are necessary. The introduction of relevant important policies not only needs to be fully deliberated, but also needs to publish specific content and implementation rules as soon as possible, fully interpret them, and create a good social public opinion environment.
