Guizhou Holds Successful Digital Economy High-Quality Development Supply and Demand Matching Conference, Signing Totaling 103 Billion Yuan

On August 29th, the Guizhou Provincial Digital Economy High-Quality Development Supply and Demand Matching Conference was held in Guiyang, aiming to build an efficient and practical exchange platform to promote in-depth coordination between government, enterprises, and the market, and jointly explore new frontiers in the digital economy. The conference attracted the participation of 115 enterprises from within and outside the province, and achieved fruitful results.

At the conference, seven projects were signed, including the Guiyang Gui'an Digital Technology and Scene Investment Fund, the Zhongke Fuchuang Headquarters Base, the China Mobile (Guiyang Gui'an) Intelligent Computing Center Project, and the China Translation and Interpreting Corporation National Defense Science and Technology Big Data Base, with a total contract value of 103 billion yuan. Among them, six projects were from Guiyang Gui'an, with a total contract value of 73 billion yuan.

To further promote the development of the digital economy, the Guizhou Provincial Big Data Bureau released a list of 122 application scenario market demands, covering multiple areas such as smart cities, industrial manufacturing, and public services, providing clear market orientation and cooperation opportunities for participating enterprises, facilitating precise matching between supply and demand.

Guided by the Guizhou Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau, relevant cities and prefectures have significantly increased their planning of big data industry projects, compiling a list of 100 big data industry investment promotion projects and publishing the "Index of Key Investment Promotion Projects for the Big Data Industry in Guizhou Province in 2024," aiming to attract 830 billion yuan in investment.

To facilitate more exchanges and cooperation, the conference specially set up nine negotiation areas for various cities and prefectures, provincial departments, state-owned enterprises, and participating enterprises to hold group discussions and explore cooperation opportunities in depth.

Over the past year, Guizhou has relentlessly pursued the development of the digital economy industry, focusing on key enterprises and projects to intensify investment attraction efforts, accumulating 557 projects in the upstream and downstream of the computing power guarantee base industry chain, with a total agreed investment of 1657 billion yuan, achieving breakthroughs in digital industrialization and industrial digitalization.

This supply and demand matching conference, as a key measure for the development of the digital economy in Guizhou, not only showcases the achievements made in the digital economy sector but also points out the direction for future development. Looking ahead, Guizhou will continue to enhance its efforts in developing the digital economy industry, attracting more enterprises and projects to land, driving high-quality digital economic development, and injecting new impetus into the economic and social development of Guizhou.
