Previously, Indonesian police reported that at 8:00 am on the 23rd, a plane crashed in the town of Ellelim in Papua Province, Indonesia, with a total of 6 people on board, including 4 passengers and 2 pilots. Due to the location of the crash in a mountainous forest and poor weather conditions, rescue efforts were hindered. It was not until the 24th that rescue workers fully launched search and rescue work in the forest area.
