Why is concrete losing its capacity?

We construction professionals all know that there is no sub project, and concrete pouring is not a loss! This is a heartbreaking fact. Today, while chatting with a chief engineer of a concrete mixing plant, I discovered the secret behind it. Listen to me explain

Construction projects generally use commercial concrete, and there are two settlement methods for commercial concrete companies:

Firstly, settle according to the construction party's drawings, and secondly, settle according to the pouring volume.

According to the first method, if the mixing plant is not dry, the mixing plant will suffer from losses and frequent disputes.

According to the second method, if the mixing plant is happy, the construction unit will suffer losses and often engage in disputes.

Settlement according to the drawings is unfavorable for concrete enterprises, and they need to bear the risk of inadequate management during the construction process by the construction unit, such as losses caused by phenomena such as formwork expansion and pipe blockage during the concrete pouring process, and it is difficult to regulate through contract terms. In practice, using square quantity settlement is relatively simple and convenient, but construction units often worry that concrete production enterprises may lack weight and quantity.

So why on earth is it losing money?

Mr. Ma's analysis is as follows:

1. Before concrete pouring, inaccurate dimensions of the structure can lead to incorrect calculation of the volume of concrete pouring, resulting in losses. (Responsibilities of the construction unit)

two. Deformation and expansion of the structure template, pile foundation expansion, size exceeding the design, resulting in losses (responsibility of the construction unit).

3. Material quality issues: Poor quality of cement, sand, crushed stones, and other materials required for concrete pouring, or incorrect proportions of materials, can lead to losses during concrete pouring. (Loss in calculation, general responsibility of mixing plant)

4. Poor workability of concrete, unsmooth pouring, resulting in waste (both the construction unit and the mixing plant are responsible)

5. Environmental impact: Under high temperature and dry climate conditions, concrete is prone to dehydration and loss, with reduced slump and evaporation of water, resulting in losses in concrete pouring. (It's hard to say whose reason it is)

6. During transportation, there may be agglomeration, sticking to the pot, etc. Easy to cause losses in concrete. (Mixing plants all have brush pots, and the amount of sand and gravel collected in a year is several thousand tons)

7. Some subdivisional works (Pile foundation, cushion, pavement, floor slab, etc.) that are prone to square loss are mainly caused by pouring size problems, which are basically caused by the construction unit.

8. During the construction process, leakage of grout, formwork expansion, formwork movement, concrete test blocks, and pipe sticking may cause losses.

Here comes the key point

Loss caused by mixing plant

1. The equipment of concrete manufacturers adopts fully automatic computer control for the batching, loading, weighing, and mixing of concrete, and generally there is no error in the quantity. But the following reasons can easily lead to losses:

(1) Check if the mechanical equipment is not accurately weighed, resulting in losses;

(two) Whether there are any arbitrary changes to the mix proportion during the production process, and whether the improper setting of the mix proportion unit weight causes errors;

(3) Poor concrete cutting, not aligned with the roof hole, and some concrete scattered on the ground;

(4) When unloading concrete, the unloading is not clean, and there is still a lot of concrete inside the mixer truck, or the mixer truck driver may sell materials.

twoThe reason for the mixing ratio of the mixing plant,C50two.5g/3two.4g/cm3.two.4two.4/two.5=0.964%..

350kg..50/two500=0.0twotwo%.two%.

4.two00kg0.two/7.8=0.0two5two.5%..

53%..

.

Haha, that's all!
