In June 2019, Zhao Xuejun, an aerospace expert, was arrested by the Security agency in accordance with the law for providing China's confidential information abroad.

When the news came, the Chinese people couldn't help but wonder, what was the reason why he didn't cherish this proud job and even went on the path of betraying his own country?

Zhao Xuejun was born in 1976 and has achieved excellent academic performance in school since childhood. He enjoys reading astronomy outside of class. Among the reading materials, the story of "the world's first astronaut" particularly attracted him.

After the college entrance examination, Zhao Xuejun successfully admitted to Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Unlike those classmates who set themselves free in college, his enthusiasm for learning increased instead of decreasing. He went to the library before dawn and only returned to his dormitory late at night.

He is too clear in his heart, but the road to realizing his aerospace dream is still long.

Zhao Xuejun quickly became one of the top students in his major, and his teachers praised him highly. In his senior year, he was given a recommended graduate student spot, and the teacher did not hesitate to give it to him. His classmates were also convinced.

After graduating from graduate school, he obtained a doctoral degree and naturally entered the Chinese aerospace system to work.

Before the age of 30, he had both given and received, and his journey was smooth sailing. However, the fate of life after the age of 30 was beyond his imagination.

First encounter setbacks

As a newcomer to the space agency, Zhao Xuejun suddenly realized that he was no longer the only focus of the past. After all, there are too many top talents in the bureau, and any one selected is not inferior to him in terms of theoretical level or research results.

Thinking of Qian Xuesen's experience of studying in the United States when he was young, he suddenly realized that to solve the problems encountered in the current project, he had to improve himself, which required further study of more advanced theories and technologies abroad.

By 1955, Qian Xuesen had been detained by the US government for five years without any reason. Qian Xuesen decided to ask for the support of the Chinese government, and wrote a letter to report that he was detained by the US and had a national crisis.

In order to successfully deliver this letter to China, he carefully planned to have his wife write with her left hand in a childlike style, with her sister's address left at the recipient of the envelope.

How to drop letters into the mailbox is also a tricky problem. When the couple came to a shopping mall, Qian Xuesen pretended to wait outside the door, and his wife went into the mall alone to shop. Because seeing Qian Xuesen standing outside the door, the agent was relieved and watched.

My wife walked into the mall and didn't see the agent coming. She quickly dropped the letter into the mailbox in the mall. After receiving the letter, Qian Xuesen's wife's sister in Belgium immediately forwarded it to the Chinese government.

On August 5, 1955, under the solemn negotiation of the Chinese government, Qian Xuesen finally received a letter from the Immigration Planning Bureau of the United States Department of Justice about leaving the United States.

On September 17 of the same year, Qian Xuesen finally returned to the motherland after hardships. At that moment, he decided to do his best to help his compatriots build a happy and dignified country.

In order to leave the United States and serve his motherland, Qian Xuesen can be said to be extremely intelligent. In contrast, Zhao Xuejun betrayed his motherland with both hands.
