On June 30, 1971, it was a very special day for the Soviet people, even for billions of compatriots around the world. On that day, it had been 10 years since the launch of the "Dongfang 1". In the early morning of that day, thousands of people in the Soviet aviation base were working hard for the return of the "Dongfang 1".

According to insider information, the return of "Dongfang 1" was not smooth because the Soviets and several of their astronauts had lost contact. There were many possibilities for this situation, such as a communication device malfunction or an accident with "Dongfang 1", but the procedure for its return was already set.

At around one o'clock in the morning, the figure of "Dongfang 1" could finally be seen on the ground.

Thousands of people waited there, hoping that their hero could step out of the spacecraft on their own.

With a loud bang, the "Dongfang 1" successfully landed, and people waited for a few minutes. More than a dozen fire trucks, emergency vehicles, and others carrying hundreds of staff rushed towards the "Dongfang 1", and the cabin door slowly opened. However, the worst-case scenario still occurred. After the door opened, the people outside did not wait for the presence of the three people.

The commander on site immediately ordered the emergency personnel to come forward and check, but when the doctor entered the spacecraft, they found that the three astronauts had already closed their eyes and their bodies were already stiff.

Subsequently, the three astronauts were sent to the most advanced hospital in Moscow. After rescue, in the afternoon of the same day, Soviet officials announced that the three astronauts had died, and the cause of death was yet to be investigated.

According to staff at the Soviet Aviation Center, the symptoms of the deaths of the three astronauts were suffocation causing blood to boil. However, even if this mechanical malfunction cannot be eliminated, it is not impossible to contact the headquarters!

Later, after further investigation on the cause of death of the spaceship and three astronauts, the Soviet investigation team found that there might be human factors. Is this related to the special historical mission of Vostok 1?

Vostok 1's mission to enter space is to put a man-made satellite into a predetermined orbit, which is also the second satellite to enter space in human history, and its significance to the Soviet Union is self-evident.

The first satellite into space was also launched by the Soviet Union, four years earlier than Vostok 1, while Vostok 1 was jointly developed by the former Soviet Union and the United States, which is very complicated in terms of technology and politics.

From a technical point of view, Vostok 1 is undoubtedly much more complex than the first satellite. Because of the new addition of many advanced technologies from the United States, the Test effort was completed in the United States. However, the equipment and technology of the United States are also different from those of the Soviet Union in many aspects. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the Test effort, the United States and the Soviet Union have carried out close cooperation for a long time.

But in the year before the satellite launch, there were still problems in many aspects. For a period of time, the US base even lost contact with the simulated satellite, and there were also many errors in data collection between the two sides.

Nevertheless, after the successful launch of Vostok 1, it still brought a large number of unprecedented scientific arguments and experimental data to mankind, providing immeasurable scientific value for the development of human science and technology.

First, Vostok 1 officially announced that it is possible for human beings to enter space through a large number of experiments. Second, as the world's two largest superpowers, the cooperation between the United States and the Soviet Union has promoted the exchange of science, technology and culture in the world.

Later, we were able to land on Moon landing and set up space stations in space, all supported by the valuable experience provided by Vostok 1.

It's hard to imagine the danger of exploring the unknown space. The year Vostok 1 returned, China's first satellite, Dongfanghong 1, was also launched. At the time of design, the service life of this satellite was only 28 days. However, more than 50 years later, Dong Fang Hong 1 could not return, but scientists were surprised to find that it still floats in space today without crash, And with a regular orbit moving around the Earth.

It is certain that the fuel of Dongfanghong 1 has already been exhausted, but why can it still make such a large-scale movement around the Earth?

Scientists have found that the trajectory of Dongfanghong 1 is very eerie, with the farthest point being over 2300 kilometers from Earth and the closest point being only 440 kilometers.

However, it was observed that Dongfanghong 1 had miraculously avoided the dangerous atmosphere and stayed in the escape layer most of the time. In this area, Dongfanghong 1 could be affected by Gravity of Earth and at the same time could remove most of the resistance from itself.

In theory, it can continue to move like this, perhaps after hundreds of years, it will crash due to unpredictable external factors.

In that special era, the exploration of space was also a reflection of the Comprehensive National Power of all countries in the world. At the beginning, the United States chose to cooperate with the Soviet Union, to a large extent, it was unwilling to be left behind by the Soviet Union, but their cooperation was full of too much uncertainty.

Taking the causes of the deaths of three astronauts as an example, when designing the space capsule, one of the most likely scenarios in space was hypoxia, where humans cannot sustain themselves for too long. In addition, the environment in space is very harsh, and both the quality of the spacecraft and the physical condition of the astronauts have undergone a lot of preparation work.

At that time, the three astronauts selected were all one in a hundred elites, such as Gagarin. These astronauts could not have made low-level mistakes, so what was the cause of the accident?

After several weeks of inspection of the capsule, the investigation team found a special phenomenon that the door of the Reentry capsule had been opened in advance before landing.

This discovery has attracted the attention of many scientists. In theory, even if the spacecraft is opened early for certain reasons, astronauts have many ways to manually control it.

But through the surveillance video in the Reentry capsule, they found that the three astronauts did not make any response. They watched the air loss helplessly, and died of oxygen deficiency.

After several months of investigation, General Kamanin, the head of Soviet space operations, was dismissed.

Later, the Soviet Union confirmed that there was a major hidden danger in the design of the Reentry capsule itself. However, the United States and the Soviet Union had different opinions on the original design scheme. It seemed that both sides chose to ignore this major hidden danger for their own national interests.

Some international analysts pointed out that the international situation of Vostok 1 had changed greatly from its launch to its return. The contradiction between the United States and the Soviet Union had changed from cooperation to confrontation to the launch of the Cold War.

While Vostok 1 stayed in space and worked hard, the United States and the Soviet Union have been colluding for their own interests. There has been a huge dispute over the ownership of Vostok 1.

In the process of the determination of the United States and the Soviet Union, other major countries in the world also rose one after another, and the world pattern became more and more chaotic. In the chaos, the Soviet Union took the lead in adjusting its space strategy. The Soviet space station was successfully launched into space in the very year of the return of Vostok 1.

This also means that the Soviet Union once again leads the United States in the sky competition, but this space station of the Soviet Union, which only lasted for half a year, had a huge failure and was finally completely destroyed in space. It is said that this has a lot to do with the fate of the three astronauts of Vostok 1.

Three months before the launch of Vostok 1, the Soviet Union's "Soyuz 10" spacecraft entered space. As the second phase plan of the space station, the docking work of the space station requires astronauts to manually operate.

However, at that time, some of the Soviet Union's preparations were not perfect. They forcefully launched this plan in advance in order to take advantage of the United States. The consequence was that after the docking of the space station was completed, due to technical reasons, astronauts were unable to enter the station.

This incident was not revealed by Russian intelligence personnel until several decades later. At that time, these astronauts had already signed a sacrifice agreement with the country, and they knew they would definitely die. That mission was their swan song.

And this incident was also included in the top secret document of the Soviet Union, which is unknown to the outside world.

After a series of failures and extreme operations, the Soviet Vostok 1 was put on the agenda.

The three astronauts at that time were Georgi Dobrovolski, engineers Victor Pachayev and Vladislav Volkov. In fact, when the Soviet Union designed the Vostok 1, the number was set at two. But because of the United States' accession, the Soviet Union insisted on using three astronauts to complete their tasks. It is said that because of this, Several leaders of the Soviet aviation department also had significant disagreements, but ultimately they were suppressed by their superiors.

Everything originated from the confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union.

What was even more fatal was that the Soviet Union had a remedial measure, which was that when the cabin door malfunctioned, as long as astronauts could put on their spacesuits in a timely manner, they would have enough time to overcome this difficulty.

However, because of the serious internal strife and division within the Soviet Union, perhaps there are also American factors in it, these hidden dangers of Vostok 1 have not been disclosed to the public, or attracted enough attention.

So after docking with the space station, under great pressure, the door of the Reentry capsule was overwhelmed and opened in advance, but the three astronauts did not put on their spacesuits in advance, which caused them to lose their mobility in a short time due to lack of oxygen and the harsh space environment.

In less than a minute, before they could react effectively, the three of them died from ruptured blood vessels!

This avoidable disaster, due to various indescribable reasons, ultimately occurred!

At that time, the Soviet people were also very angry and asked for a thorough investigation of the incident. It was fair to return the three astronauts. However, General Kamanin was dismissed and investigated, which seemed more like a perfunctory act.
