On July 5, I came to the General aviation Base in Lusong with excitement to participate in the "little pilot" activity launched by the new Hunan "Youth of Growth" program.

After meeting the instructor, I went to the women's locker room. A big sister assigned us pilot clothing based on our height and physique. I received the largest outfit - a sky blue top, a black short skirt, and a pair of shoulder badges pinned to both sides of the top. We who put on "flying suits" are beautiful and heroic.

The first big guy I saw was introduced by the instructor as a "flying car". The 'Flying Car' has four thick and sturdy large wheels, a ship like base with foldable propellers, and a circular thruster at the front and rear of the body, supported by levers. The surrounding area is inlaid with a blue shell, with the prominent words' XS220 'printed on the shell. We were extremely surprised, its appearance was completely different from the planes I had seen before.

Sitting in a flying car, I feel a full sense of future technology and imagine that perhaps in the near future, household cars can also fly in the sky! Getting off the 'flying car', we eagerly rushed towards another red and white plane. At the moment I saw it, I remembered the movie "The King of the Sky". It was so similar to the planes that Lei Yu and Captain Zhang had flown! The B-12MR is a light sports aircraft with a red "mouth", red "wings", short "tail", and slender "feet". No wonder it can fly freely in the sky!

The coolest aircraft we have seen is the turbojet drone. It has a gray head, a mini cabin, and a mini dummy pilot in the mini cabin. The black fuselage is painted with a blue sculpture, and the tail wing is tilted upward, with Archimedes and several lightning images printed on it. It is extremely powerful. We gave it a cool name - 'Flying Eagle'. The "Flying Eagle" quickly ran on the runway, its front half slowly lifting off the ground, and soon its back half followed suit and flew into the sky. We look up at the sky, our gaze soaring with the "Flying Eagle". It is like a flexible bird shuttling through the blue sky, sometimes climbing, diving, and even flipping backwards, leaving behind a series of curved tail clouds at the tail. After flying and landing, we happily took a photo with 'Flying Eagle'.

After enjoying lunch, we arrived at the hangar. The coach prepared a mysterious gift for us - 'Drone Football'. The core of "UAV football" is a Radio-controlled aircraft, and the outside is a mesh hollowed out model, like a football. We stand on the side of the volleyball mesh obstruction and manipulate it through the remote control. In this project, boys are experts, and in just a few rounds, we girls are willing to give up!

In addition, we also followed the coach to the fire station, and the teacher from the fire department explained airport fire protection knowledge to us. Next, the teacher asked us to climb onto the fire truck and simulate the scene of the fire, using water to extinguish the fire. When I saw my companions slowly and trembling up the fire truck, I still laughed at their timidity in my heart. When it was my turn, I was already full of confidence, but halfway up the fire truck, my legs began to weaken inexplicably. When I saw the platform not far from me, I regained confidence and climbed up in three steps. The two people behind me also arrived one after another. When we were still in shock, the staff waiting here taught me and my friends to steadily control the spraying device. After three beeps, the firefighter uncle in the cab pressed the water outlet valve for us, and a powerful beam of water surged out, flying like a white ribbon in the air.

In this activity, we learned flight etiquette, understood the basic principles of aircraft power, saw various types of aircraft, and made Model aircraft. It was a rewarding trip. In addition, to popularize science, a "helicopter" is not an aircraft. It does not have wings, but is powered by an engine to generate lift and thrust from the rotor, which can only be considered as an aircraft.
