[Global Network Technology Comprehensive Report] On July 20, according to Gartner, a market analyst, global IT spending is expected to reach 4.7 trillion dollars in 2023, up 4.3% year on year.

Gartner Vice President Analyst John DavidLovelock believes that many companies are advancing digital business transformation, with IT projects shifting from focusing on external deliverables such as revenue and customer experience to focusing more on optimizing internal work. Although the overall outlook for enterprise IT spending is optimistic, due to the continued impact of inflation on consumer purchasing power, equipment spending will decrease by 8.6% in 2023.

John DavidLovelock also stated that although many companies and IT leaders are actively promoting generative AI, the impact on IT spending levels is currently not significant. He pointed out that enterprises can deploy generative AI by combining existing software, hardware, and services, and gradually integrate it into tools already built into IT budgets. This incremental approach can help enterprises adapt to their business needs and budget constraints.
