This is one of the ten thousand meter deep wells with the greatest difficulty in drilling in the world, and also the second ten thousand meter deep well in China after the one in the Tarim Basin.

Well Shendi Chuanke 1 is located in the Jiange buried structure in the northwest of Sichuan Basin. The ground elevation is 717 meters, the design well depth is 10520 meters, and the drilling is completed 20 meters before the Sinian system. Multiple sets of high-quality reservoirs are stacked in the ultra-deep layer of the region, with superior reservoir formation conditions. Once successful, it is possible to discover new ultra-deep scale natural gas storage target areas.

Shendi Chuanke Well 1 adopts a 12000 meter ultra deep well automated drilling rig independently developed in China, equipped with automation devices, fully powered by electricity, and equipped with newly developed 10000 meter level pipe string automation equipment. It has integrated touch control operation and comprehensively solves the core technology "bottleneck" problem.
