On September 16th, at the 2023 World Computing Conference, Jin Shuanggen, Vice President of Henan University of Technology, academician of the European Academy of Sciences, and foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, stated in an interview that Hunan has many advantages in developing the computing industry.

It is reported that this is Jin Shuanggen's third time coming to Changsha, Hunan to participate in the World Computing Conference. On the same day, he proposed at the 2023 World Computing Congress Data Elements Forum that there is a "double blind" phenomenon in cultivating data talents. The talents cultivated by universities are disconnected from the industry and cannot meet the needs of enterprises. The government should focus on the upstream and downstream of local industries and lay out a talent chain. Especially in terms of computing power, algorithms, and data, we will increase our training efforts to serve local industries.

Jin Shuanggen believes that Hunan has outstanding advantages in the computing industry, such as having a number of advantageous universities in the computing field such as National University of Defense Science and Technology, Central South University, and Hunan University, as well as relatively complete new infrastructure such as the Beidou Observation Station and 5G base station.
