Since using the Zero Run C11 Extended Range 285 Intelligent Enjoyment car, it is convenient to drive anywhere in daily life. Charging from a dedicated household electric meter charging station is super cheap, with a monthly electricity consumption of 20 yuan and a nighttime valley electricity consumption of 0.23 yuan per hour, which is calculated to cost 3 cents per kilometer.
The National Day Expressway is free, and it's a pity not to go out on the road, so I plan to take a one day trip not far or near.
According to online reports, there were relatively few trips to western Sichuan during the National Day holiday. So I picked up my phone and flipped through the map to find places that were closer to me that I had never played in. At first glance, I fell in love with the Bi Peng Gou Scenic Area in Li County, Wenchuan, and wanted to see the scenery of the plateau.
Bipenggou is a large-scale original ecological tourism scenic area that integrates natural landscape exhibition, mountain climbing, polar exploration, skiing and skating, and leisure vacation. (1000 words are omitted here to introduce the scenic area)
I was fully charged the day before, and the full meter displayed WTLC (the following range is based on the WTLC standard) with a range of 238 kilometers. The remaining fuel range is 121 kilometers, totaling 359 kilometers. I can see from the map that I am 152 kilometers away from Penggou Scenic Area, with a round-trip distance of over 300 kilometers. I estimate that the current range can support one round-trip, and there should be some left. So I chose the extreme pure electric mode and set off with peace of mind.
My home is in Qingchengshan Town, where the altitude is 643 meters, and the altitude of the parking lot in Bipenggou Scenic Area is 2273 meters. Getting there is equivalent to a climb of 1630 meters by car. The whole journey is 151 kilometers, which is equivalent to a full climb, with an average gradient of 1.07%.
The formula for overcoming gravity and doing work is: W=G * h (the weight of an object multiplied by the height at which it rises, the gravity of the object G=m * g, where m is the mass of the object and g is the acceleration of gravity, usually g=10).
My car has a net weight of 2065 kilograms, and our family of three, as well as some items and fuel on the car, adds up to around 180 kilograms. The total weight of the car is approximately 2245 kilograms. Climbing will consume 2245 * 10 * 1630=36593500 joules of energy,
Starting from my home, 90% of the road is expressway. G4217 runs from the west of Dujiangyan Irrigation Project to the bottom of Bipenggou. The expressway is more than 130 kilometers long, almost including bridges and tunnels, which may account for more than 70%. The speed limit for the whole expressway is 80. On the expressway, I have always used LCC, with a constant speed of 85 kilometers.
I leave early in the morning. There was almost no traffic jam on the way to the destination, except for a small jam when we arrived at the parking lot of the Bipenggou Scenic Area, which took 2 and a half hours to complete.
When I arrived at the parking lot of the Bipenggou Scenic Area, my car only had 15% battery power and only had a pure electric range of 50 kilometers. There are still 121 kilometers left before the fuel is used, totaling 171 kilometers left. The return journey should be enough to run home.
After entering the scenic area, transfer to the Bipenggou scenic area bus for a trip into the ditch. After nearly 7 hours of sightseeing, summarize one word - "tired" (1000 words of travel details are omitted here again).
Returning to the parking lot, it was already around 5:30 pm, and I was ready to drive home and have dinner at Taoping Qiang Village on the way.
The return journey from the Bipenggou parking lot at an altitude of 2274 meters to the Taoping Qiangzhai village at an altitude of 1450 meters, for 65 kilometers, went downhill all the way. However, the pure electric range was only reduced by 15 kilometers, and there were still 35 kilometers left. The range extender still did not start.
After dinner, Taoping Qiang Village continued to set off for home. It's still downhill. As I walked, I noticed that the pure battery didn't continue to decrease but instead increased. Looking at the charging item in the settings, the current was negative, and there was also a motor output of about 7 kilowatts on the dashboard. Oh, it turned out that the range extender had started, and I didn't even feel it silently.
As we approached Yingxiu, the highway began to get stuck in traffic. We slowly walked and stopped for 30 kilometers before finally getting off the highway and soon arrived home.
From Taoping Qiangzhai to home, it is 95.9 kilometers. On this section of the road, pure electric vehicles have covered 53.1 kilometers and extended range devices have been used for 42.7 kilometers.
After parking at home, the car's engine displayed that it had driven 266.3 kilometers since the last time it was charged with pure electricity. At this time, the battery level remained at 8%, and the remaining range of pure electricity was 41 kilometers. Calculate this: 266.3+41=307 kilometers!!! Is that impossible?
I think it may be due to the remaining pure electric range of 41km, of which 11 kilometers were charged by fuel (because the booster was forced to start when the remaining pure electric range was 30km). If you subtract the charged 11 kilometers, that is
307-11=296 kilometers.
This test has calculated that my C11 with an extended range of 285 can achieve an ultimate pure electric range of 296 kilometers!!!
Did Zero Run quietly upgrade its electronic control? I am aligned with the new version of Super Extended Range 300.
Summarizing this journey, we set off at full capacity and continued to climb the hill, almost using up a box of electricity.
The calculation shows that the elevation increase of the vehicle alone will consume an additional 10 kilowatt hours of electricity, occupying 10/43.7=23% of the electricity.
Excluding elevation increase, according to the general distance consumption, 151/238=63%
The total electricity consumption during the journey is 63%+23%=86%, so the remaining 15% of the electricity at the scenic spot parking lot and the remaining pure electric mileage of 50 kilometers are relatively accurate.
Also, I would like to praise Gaode Map for accurately estimating the mileage required to arrive.
The return journey has been downhill, and the 10 degree electricity used to increase altitude should mostly increase range through kinetic energy recovery and reducing motor power output. Due to the activation of the second half range extender, the relationship between the percentage of electricity cannot be accurately calculated.
But when I finally got home, the meter showed that since the last charge, I had traveled 266 kilometers on pure electricity during this trip. During the return journey, when my pure electricity had a range of less than 30 kilometers, the range extender started. After starting, I ran another 42.7 kilometers and even charged the battery for 11 kilometers. In the end, I had a pure electricity range of 41 kilometers left.
So, 266+41-11=296 kilometers, is my 285 version of C11 the Super Extended Range 300???
