This project covers an area of over 2000 acres and is a major project for the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, with a total budget investment of over 4 billion yuan. After completion, it will mainly undertake domestic and international rocket launch business, which will further enhance China's commercial rocket launch capabilities.

Reporter Jin Xinzhu from the headquarters:I am currently located at the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site under construction in Wenchang, Hainan, where the lifting operation of the tower crane boom is currently underway. The large arm of this tower crane is 45 meters long, and it takes approximately one day and night to lift from the ground to the assembly area. The lifting height exceeds 83 meters, the lifting weight is 110 tons, and rotating in the air is the difficulty of lifting. After all other components of the tower crane are transported and assembled, the complete tower crane can be used for lifting at the rocket launch site.

The building carrying the tower crane is a fixed service tower. Currently, the main structure of the fixed service tower has been completed and the installation of the tower top tower crane is underway. The fixed service tower has 11 floors and is 83 meters high, with the white part being the fixed tower and the blue part being the rotating platform. What are they used for? The main function of the service tower is to complete the lifting, testing, and launch tasks of rockets, providing various service support work for rocket launch. Other equipment and pipelines on site are also being installed at the same time. The project is tight in time and the task is heavy. The construction personnel are scheduling the project backwards, and they are fighting on a wall chart.

There is also a special facility at the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site, which is the gas and water tank located next to the service tower. The gas and water tank is not the "soda" tank that people often imagine drinking, but a gas and water tank that sprays water to cool down during rocket launch. Generally, similar facilities in China are installed on the top of service towers, which generate water spray to cool down through the self weight pressure of water. However, this air water tank is separately installed, which pressurizes the water supply tank through the air tank to achieve the purpose of water spray cooling.

Through aerial photography, it can be seen that the launch site is surrounded by coconut trees and the sea and sky are one color, making it a coastal launch site surrounded by beautiful scenery. The construction site also adopts green and environmentally friendly steel structural modules, which are built like building blocks, protecting the sanitary environment of the construction site.

It is reported that the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site plans to complete all hardware construction operations by the end of this year. In order to ensure the first launch of the rocket in June next year, all construction parties are seizing the construction period and coordinating cooperation. Currently, the project is intensifying construction.
