At the No. 18 factory building of Sany Group in Changsha Economic Development Zone, the intelligent cutting and sorting production line independently developed by SIBIT is operating in an orderly manner. It is reported that this is the first intelligent cutting and sorting production line in China based on "AI+3D vision". It was developed in 2019 and put into use in 2020. The steel plate is very thick and heavy, which was previously manually handled, making it very difficult and posing certain safety risks. After cutting a steel plate into parts of different sizes ranging from 0.4m to 10m, our 3D vision technology is used for intelligent identification and sorting, greatly reducing the labor intensity of workers, saving labor costs, and effectively improving production capacity and efficiency. The SIBIT intelligent cutting and sorting production line adopts independently developed AI+3D visual advanced technology and multi robot intelligent collaborative control software, providing the production line with "smart eyes" and "smart brains", achieving fully automatic and flexible sorting of tens of thousands of steel plate parts. The sorting robot equipped with high-precision 3D cameras can adapt to different lighting conditions to accurately identify, locate, grab, and stack massive parts. The optimized grabbing and stacking algorithms for specific scenarios can provide precise obstacle avoidance during the grabbing process, completing efficient collaborative operations among multiple robots.

At present, the intelligent cutting and sorting production line has been widely implemented and applied in the domestic heavy industry, helping heavy industry enterprises such as Sany Group, Zoomlion Heavy Industry, Xingbang Heavy Industry, and Tiejian Heavy Industry to increase their sorting capacity several times.

This workstation has been implemented in batches by multiple leading enterprises in the automotive parts, engineering machinery, wind power and other industries.

Founded in August 2018, ShibitRobot is a cutting-edge enterprise specializing in AI+3D vision, industrial intelligence software, and smart factory solutions.
