At the Desert Ecological Theme Exhibition, the three major zones of Wilderness Wozhou, Gobi Ridge, and Starry Night Sandbank comprehensively showcased the unique natural landscapes and ecosystems of the desert. Affected by the tropical high pressure, the desert lacks rainwater, but the creatures here have a way to persist until the next rain arrives. The wilderness of Wozhou showcases the wonders of life in the desert after the rainy season, "said Wang Wei, a commentator at the Science and Technology Museum. The Gobi Ridge exhibition area mainly displays the Gobi landscape shaped by the wind. After the hot day, the starry night sandbar presents a desert night scene where animals flock.

The petite and cute African mini hedgehog, the Gobi survival expert Jumping Rat with big eyes and long ears, and various forms of giant cacti... As an ecological exhibition, more than 20 rare living desert animals and over 100 living desert plants were invited to the desert themed exhibition, sparking people's enthusiasm for visiting. I often bring my children to the Science and Technology Museum to take a look, and this ecological exhibition has seen many live animals and plants, which can better attract children's attention. Mr. Li, a citizen who brought his grandchildren to the exhibition, said that such an ecological exhibition is very novel.

It is reported that since the beginning of this year, the Songjiang Science and Technology Museum has utilized high-quality science popularization resources to introduce high-quality science popularization exhibitions. At the same time, it has also carried out activities such as scientific hands-on work, science popularization markets, and public science popularization at the Shanghai Station of Science Popularization Journey. Through "going out" and "inviting in", as well as combining online and offline, it has carried out youth science popularization work.
