On the morning of September 23rd, the 2024 Dongfeng Motor Brand Autumn Release Conference and the 9th Science and Technology Innovation Week Opening Ceremony were successfully held. At the event, Yang Yanding, Dean of the Dongfeng Motor Research and Development Institute, and Yu Xiao, President of the Intelligent Vehicle Control Domain of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, jointly unveiled the significant outcome of their collaboration the electronic and electrical architecture equipped with Huawei's Qiankun vehicle control module, known as the new generation Tian Yuan architecture.

During the release, Dean Yang Yanding stated that intelligent vehicles in the new era call for intelligent platforms that match their capabilities. The new generation Tian Yuan architecture has achieved comprehensive evolution in terms of form, efficiency, experience, and safety. It is expected that over 30 models equipped with this architecture will gradually be launched, bringing diverse and personalized multi-scenario experiences to consumers.

Huawei's Qiankun vehicle control module is based on the production experience of Qiankun IDVP (Intelligent Vehicle Digital Platform), aiming to assist automakers in independently building next-generation service-oriented intelligent vehicle digital platforms. This module is the world's first "five-in-one" module integrating MPU, MCU, LSW, PHY, and IO. Its integrated programmable network processor NP and XoETH communication forwarding capabilities significantly outperform industry standards, achieving extremely low latency and effectively addressing the communication challenges posed by full-service orientation, enabling the new generation Tian Yuan architecture to achieve rapid response and precise control. Additionally, the Qiankun vehicle control module incorporates a full set of self-developed operating system platforms VOS and tooling chains HASStudio, providing strong support for Dongfeng Motor's agile development, efficient iteration, and rapid launch of multiple models.

At the release, the two parties also announced the establishment of the "Intelligent Vehicle Control Joint Innovation Center" by the Dongfeng Motor Research and Development Institute and Huawei Qiankun Vehicle Control.
