From July 3 to 4, the second China IPv6 Innovation and Development Conference was held in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province. The "China IPv6 Industry Development Report (2023 Edition)" was released for the first time at the meeting. The report shows that as of May this year, the number of active IPv6 users in China has reached 763 million, with a user proportion of 71.51%, ranking among the top in the world in terms of user scale.

With the theme of "deep cultivation, broad expansion and intelligent empowerment", the conference was guided by the Central Cyberspace Office, the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, and hosted by the Expert Committee on Promoting IPv6 Scale Deployment and Application in conjunction with the Cyberspace Office of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Jinhua City. It set up one main summit forum, seven parallel sub forums and two theme exhibitions, including education and research, Internet applications and infrastructure, and Digital transformation of SMEs, from national ministries More than 800 guests and scholars from basic telecommunications companies, internet companies, and research institutions attended the conference.

Ao Li, Secretary General of the Expert Committee on Promoting the Scale Deployment and Application of IPv6 and Chief Engineer of the China Institute of Information and Communications, stated that China's IPv6 has been developing for 20 years, with rapid growth in user numbers, continuous increase in traffic proportion, and continuous expansion of application fields.
